This is a peaceful, small campground with friendly staff and excellent food at the on-site pub. Sites are generally level and well-kept, with pleasant lake views. Facilities are described as basic but functional, though several reviews mention they are dated and need refurbishment. The location is ideal for exploring Cornwall and enjoying lakeside walks. Great little campsite, basic but clean, and not too expensive.
Powered cement/asphalt and grass campsite
Liked Clean and tidy, it has adequate facilities. The pitches are reasonably flat with soft earth so no problem getting pegs into the ground. Great location for Western Cornwall... and there's a pub! Staff in the pub were helpful.
Disliked The facilities do need a revamp, but are actually workable. Pub closed early on the Sunday and table booking advised belatedly, on the Saturday, although we were accommodated.
