What customers say
This well-maintained, peaceful site has friendly, helpful staff. Guests love the clean facilities, hot showers, and great kitchen with fridge/freezer. It’s a perfect base for exploring West Cornwall, with nearby trails. Some noted small sinks & spotty cell service (paid WiFi avail). Food trucks visit often.

Gavine does work really hard and we can't thank him and Clare enough for making the park so lovely.
There were no toilet and shower facilities on this park at all last year and bit by bit we are trying to introduce some new facilities.

Excellent site which we really liked and would stay at again.

Liked This is a really well kept site with flowers everywhere. The owners have taken it over since COVID and have done a really lovely job on it. You get a really warm welcome on arrival. The owner Gavin is ever present, always working on something, never stops and keeps the site in top condition. There's a paid for optional WiFi as the signal was pretty dismal ( for us on Tesco), but it was worth paying as we needed to plan cycling routes etc. The showers and loos are clean and there was plentiful hot water. Make sure you follow the site's instructions to get there if you're in a big van like we were or have a caravan. There are a couple of good food vans ( Greek, Fish and chips , and crepes and coffee on Friday),that visit during the week and it's pretty close to Marazion where we windsurfed. We really liked the site and we'd definitely stay again.

From the manager: Thank you for your lovely feedback. We are so pleased that you enjoyed your stay. The wardens work very hard to keep everything clean and operational and work hard to tend the gardens and pitches etc. The park is a haven for wildlife too.

Phone signal patchy but can pay for WiFi.

Liked Friendly, relaxed environment. Lovely park warden and staff. Woodland walk though my stubborn dog did not want to go! Recycling, showers, plenty of water and waste disposal points, very well kept grounds, easy road access, extremely quiet at night, visiting food vans am and pm some days. Excellent value for money a real gem.

From the manager: Thank you for your comments. We are trying to add to the facilities on the park, when we can. We have added sinks to the list but not quite sure how to sort this as yet. Leave it with us.

The washing up / kitchen area is excellent.
The showers are hot and powerful
Good sized pitch
Quiet
Disliked Hand basins in the toilet block are tiny, and do not have hot water or water clean enough to brush teeth.

Liked The campsite is in a lovely woodland setting, only a few minutes from the main road, little to no traffic passing by, so very peaceful. Great location to explore West Cornwall. Tall hedges and trees provided shade from the early morning sun, owing to a pleasant sleep. The owner and wardens are extremly welcoming and friendly. The facilities were clean and well maintained. Showers were powerful and hot. Kitchen area was brilliant, free use of fridge/freezer, kettle, toaster and microve. Washing machine and tumble dryer available at extra cost. Great value for money and will certainly be back.
Disliked Only very minor gripe (noted by my wife) wash basin are quite small in the toilets to wash face etc, but I simply had a shower!

Liked Friendly site manager, pleasant, informative and obliging.
Grass pitches, good sizes.
Well kept site, clean and tidy.
Wildlife.
Close to St Michael's Mount.
Disliked Toilets not on mains and some sort of eco system, which didn't smell too good.
No wash basins to clean teeth as water was only for washing hands and not recommended for brushing of teeth.

From the manager: The rural and secluded location of our park has meant that we have to have portable toilet and shower facilities at the moment. We are glad that you liked everything else about the park.
