What customers say

This quiet, clean campsite is lauded for its peaceful vibe & great location near St Merryn/Padstow. Enjoy beautiful views, hot showers, and friendly staff. Pitches are level. Some found WiFi/cell service lacking & felt it was farther from shops/beaches than advertised.

Liked Clean quite and well looked after

Disliked To far away from beach shops and restaurants definitely not within walking distance as described. WiFi. Not a hope. 😂

Recommend to friends Visit again

From the manager: Thank you for the lovely comments about the site being clean and well looked after . Unfortunately the shop close by closed down this year but the bar and restaurant ( The venue ) next door is still up and running and only a 5 minute walk , granted St Merryn is around 1.6 miles away and the closest beach is 2 miles away .

Liked The pitch was clearly marked and level. The views were amazing. The site was easy to find being clearly marked from the main road. The staff were very helpful and friendly.

Disliked Not a dislike, just to be aware. The hump in the road at the entrance ( between the 2 white pillars ) is quite large and we didn’t see any road markings.
Not a dislike, just to be aware.

From the manager: Thank you for the lovely review and we will pass on the comment about the first hump when arriving to Seagull Tourist Park .

Liked We loved everything about the site, family friendly and great facilities. Graham, the site manager was so helpful, finding a bike for my daughter to use so she could ride around with her friends, lending us a charger for the campervan when ours broke, nothing was too much trouble.
We will definitely stay here again.

Local attractions

You’d need weeks to get around even some of the attractions and activities around this stretch of north Cornish coast… and that’s without even turning sights southwards to the likes of Falmouth… After your week or so on the sands of the seven nearby bays, have an inland day along the Camel Trail, the 14-mile traffic-free path from Wadebridge to Bodmin. Bikes (including trailer bikes to take toddlers) can be hired at several points along the trail. If the kids find that a tad too tame, a go-kart circuit within 10 minutes’ drive is the karting spot for kids aged three to six. Among the many other options within easy reach are Newquay Zoo, the town’s Pirates Quest or the Blue Reef Aquarium (all 30 minutes), Tintagel Castle (45 minutes), or a grownup outing to the National Trust’s Bedruthan Steps, 15 minutes away. Another grownup option is a tour and tasting at the award-winning Healey's Cornish Cyder Farm (35 minutes) – although as there’s a farm park here as well, the kids can come along too.
