Lovely small campsite just outside Looe
Primitive grass RV campsite
Liked Lovely small campsite just outside Looe - 5 mins drive, or a walk down a steep road. Stayed on a Saturday night in October and we were the only people there! Unfortunately the cafe was shut on the Saturday due to the rainy / windy weather, however we were offered hot drinks if we wanted them. The cafe is also always shut on Sundays and Mondays. There's a large field next to the camping field which we used to exercise the dog. Also saw some llamas in the next field. Has all you need for a one night stop - toilet, water tap, plenty of space and a flat field. Easy access to Looe, where (out of season) we had no problem parking our campervan for a reasonable price. Fish and chip restaurant/ takeaway next door was good, though popular on a Saturday night, so maybe worth booking if you want to sit in.

Primitive grass RV campsite
Liked Arrived early on site and greeted very warmly by the lady at the on site cafe. Allowed to park up/set up van as soon as the host arrived. Quiet site despite being located just off a main room. About 30 minute walk into Looe. Overall everything we wanted and needed for our one night stay👍👍
Disliked Nothing to dislike

Will definitely be back, loved it.
Primitive grass RV campsite
Liked Let’s just keep this between us! What a lovely place to stay, lovely couple that run the site and nursery. Great views, really peaceful despite close proximity to Looe. Even some llamas roaming about nearby but don’t tell everyone. Bus stop just down the hill 100metres, plus ace fish and chips just uphill.
Disliked My only dislike is that I didn’t get there in time to try the awesome selection of cakes in the cafe. I shall be back though so keep them stocked!

Can recommend this friendly well located site and would return
Primitive grass RV campsite
Liked Very friendly people with a warm welcome. Lovely field to camp in with adequate clean toilet facilities, fresh water and waste bins. Also an interesting plant nursery to visit on site and a hilly but fairly short walk into Looe.
Disliked Although the cakes in the plant nursery cafe were very nice, they were on the pricier side. However we appreciate this is a small business with different costs and overheads.

Excellent site. Very friendly highly recommend.
Primitive grass RV campsite
Liked Clean, quiet. There is a cafe serving awesome cakes and coffee. Staff/Owners friendly and gave us advice for eating out. Facilities are water, recycling and portloo but all very well presented and the cleanest poterloo I ever used.
Disliked No dislike about the site. If walking in to Looe get the bus back as it’s a steep walk back.

Primitive grass RV campsite
Liked Super friendly basic site, close to Looe. I visited for two nights to meet up with some work friends and was warmly welcomed straight away. Clean and tidy, spaced apart pitches with plenty of room. If you’re self contained it’s ideal. There is a portaloo if not and bins for rubbish/recycling.
Would definitely use again.

Primitive grass RV campsite
Liked Tidy little spot, run by great folks with a lovely little cafe and plant nursery. It was perfect for a couple of nights. There is traffic noise which is more obvious during the day than night, it didn't bother us at all as we were out all day and slept like logs when we were back at night. The coddy shack next door for fish and chips is excellent and worth a shout out. Quality food and super convenient. We will definitely visit again!
