Primitive grass campervan or tent campsite
Liked Great views, very close to the old mines and some great walks. You really feel off grid here. Phone signal was reasonable still. Very friendly owners and overall would be happy to stay here again.
Disliked The one toilet/shower situation is annoying, you end up loosing most your morning waiting around for the facilities. If it wasn't for that, this would be a 10/10

Liked A peaceful remote site with amazing views. Lots of space between pitches and peaceful during school holidays. Good facilities - Fridge, freezer, microwave and electric kettle. Also had a picnic bench on the pitch. Good for dark skies and seeing the stars.

Beautiful place for a relaxed stay.
Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked Remote Moor top location, dark skies, quiet, just sheep, cows and birds. Saw a pair of Ravens for the first time ever. Kettle and microwave for visitors was a useful addition. Pitches well spread out and each one had a picnic table. Plenty of lovely places to visit and walk in local area.
Disliked One toilet/shower. Was actually fine but a second toilet would be good.

Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked Stars and Moors was just what we were looking for — a quiet site with plenty of space between pitches. There are great views and it’s just a short walk to the moors, with Minions within walking distance (There is a small shop there).
The owners were very friendly and helpful, the toilet and fantastic shower were both very clean.
We’ll definitely be returning. Thank you!
