Lovely campsite that’s the right blend between freedom and facilities.
Primitive grass campervan, tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Really enjoyed the freedom to arrive with a small group of other families, and set up our own little area so we could get a campfire on together without annoying everybody.
Owners were nice and friendly, and the site itself was lovely, with some football goals and other stuff for the kids to muck about with.
It’s a great idea, as it’s the perfect middle-ground for me - I don’t want to go camping and be told exactly where to put my tent and not a foot outside it, nor do I want to be cramped in, but I do want showers and toilets, and the charging points and access to a shared fridge freezer was just the right addition.
We’d come back, for sure.

Great campsite with nice space and vibe.
Evania bell tent (four person)
Liked Amazing site, loved the space and the view, it also has a lovely community vibe where kids can come together and play. The charging points are very handy. Toilets and showers are clean.
Disliked There are only 2 showers in the ladies so sometimes there's a wait but it didn't affect me much.

A great little spot.
Primitive grass campervan, tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked We loved the level of the field, the secure dog paddock and the friendliness of Luke and Rachel.
The toilet blocks were clean and smelt lovely, and everything was covered, right down to tampons and pads (this couple really do go the extra mile)
We had a lovely couple of nights, and booked to return for 3 nights on Sugust bank holiday while we were there.
We took a small camper and awning, and our group was 2 parents, an 18 Yr old and our 2 dogs.
It was peaceful, relaxing, and certainly a site we will be returning to for short weekends away.

Would definitely go back if in the area again!
Primitive grass campervan, tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked We loved the humungous dog exercise area and the clean shower/ toilet facilities. We also loved the small touches such as the wetsuit washing area and the large array of different bins, for general, recycling, fire pit and dog bags. It was also very easy to find, as it was signposted well, and doesn’t require going down small country lanes to get there. The star gazing at the campsite was also superb!

Family holiday- great campsite
Primitive grass campervan, tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked We really loved this campsite and highly recommend it! The children's play area is excellent, and it is very pet-friendly—dogs are allowed, and there are even friendly animals on site. The pitches are great and kept very clean. Having access to a fridge was a big plus, and the toilets and showers were clean with plenty of hot water. A fantastic place to stay for families and dog owners!

Primitive grass campervan, tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Chilled, choose you own pitch, plenty of space, added extras such as coffee van and food van visits.
Clean shower and toilet block.
Charging facilities and fridge freezers, toys for kids to play on field. Welcoming owner.
Excellent location for visiting lizard area but also not too far to travel for other areas of Cornwall.
Disliked Slight slant to the ground but didn’t affect our sleep.
The site is located right next to the navy helicopter base. Sometimes trying to relax in an evening and had very loud helicopters running nearby for long periods of time.
