What customers say
A beloved, tranquil, eco-friendly campground near Gweek. Praised for clean amenities, roomy spots, and thoughtful touches like phone chargers, communal fridge/freezer, and hammocks. Owners are a frequent highlight. Some noted occasional resident noise or helicopter flyovers, and a few found the natural management style less manicured.

From the manager: Hi Jacqui, thank you for taking the time to leave some feedback..our site is intentionally managed using permaculture principles, which can appear less manicured, but supports biodiversity, water retention, and waste reduction. Items you saw are bags storing biomass resources and some camping items too good to recycle...as part of our sustainability approach. This is central to our ethos, and while it may not suit all guests, it is clearly part of what we offer and the full life cycle approach is usually applauded by most of our campers and new economist approaches. FYI see: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Doughnut_(economic_model)

Beautiful, nature-friendly and kind owners!
Pitch I primitive grass tent campsite (medium)
Liked A beautiful, quiet and eco friendly campsite. We loved the spring meadows full of wildflowers and butterflies. We even saw a barn owl hunting next to our tent in the evening!!
We forgot one of our sleeping mats and the owner was kind enough to let us borrow two of his own! Really ideal location if you want to explore western Cornwall. And the local village gweek, only a short walk away, is really nice and an excellent base.
