  • Cornwall holiday park with beach access five minutes’ drive from Hayle
  • A 20-minute drive from Tate St Ives
  • Bar, bistro and shop on site, plus a play park and heated indoor pool
Private access to a three-mile sandy beach sound tempting? That's the fabulous feature you’ll get at St Ives Bay Holiday Park, set on sand dunes five minutes’ drive from Hayle in Cornwall. If you’re all piling in for a family holiday, you can spend days building sandcastles, running around on the beach with the kids and cooling off in the sea. Travelling as a couple? You’ll have spectacular sea views across St Ives Bay and you’re almost guaranteed colourful sunsets as a backdrop for romantic twilight strolls on the sand. And when kicking back and enjoying the views is not quite enough for you (and, let’s face it, the kids will want more), how about crazy golf, tennis or the amusement arcades? You can burn off more energy at the surf school or in the heated indoor swimming pool, and there are play areas scattered around the park to wear the kids out properly. With all this going on, make sure you leave time to unwind for a drink at the terrace bar with superb views over the bay and a menu of small, tapas-style snacks – there’s entertainment in the evenings too. Or you may like to make a night of it with the family over a freshly prepared meal at Sands Bistro? Forgotten an important ingredient or need milk for your morning cuppa? There’s a well-stocked independent shop on site that stocks all the essentials, including your daily newspaper.

What customers say

Breathtaking spot right on a gorgeous beach. Guests rave about roomy sites and helpful staff. Facilities are clean, though a bit dated. Family-friendly entertainment, convenient shop/bar. Easy bus to St Ives. Beach access can be steep, and entertainment noise is sometimes an issue.

Liked A lovely site, with amazing sea views from our pitch.

Disliked The showers & pot wash really need some TLC. The showers were like standing under a tap. The pot wash taps just spurted water all over you & the sink plug holes didn't drain well. Also, there was no entertainment on in Sands Bistro from 2nd to 4th October, however it did say there would be, in the information pack that was given to us upon our arrival. Sands Bistro closed each evening, quite early on around 9.30 ish. The "white" doors leading to the toilets in Sands Bistro could do with a good scrub, they are very grimy.

Liked Tent pitches are very close to the beach- great views ! Great facilities on the site including very warm swimming pool, amusements, pub and more. Food from onsite restaurant was good and priced reasonably. Very easy to find and close to shops including Lidl. Toilet and shower block was clean - just a short walk from tent.

Liked Everything we needed was on site bar restaurant beach shop and laundrette and plenty of places to walk which our dog loved one of the nicest beaches I’ve been to the sand dunes you could walk for miles indoor pool was lovely and warm over all a great week away I read WiFi doesn’t work but not an issue for us site had everything we needed and you can choose ur own pitch which was handy loads of room for the dog

Disliked Shower blocks were very dirty but as these were nearest to the beach and where wet suits and surf boards were washed understandable if you walked a little up towards the holiday homes the shower and toilets were much nicer and with hair dryers so not to much of an issue
