What customers say
A peaceful, back-to-basics campsite with stunning rural views and a tranquil vibe. Guests love the friendly owner, beautiful gardens, and freedom for kids/pets. Basic facilities provided. Some note limited toilets/showers when busy and sloped pitches. Ideal for off-grid Cornwall breaks.

If you like camping in an off grid style this location is perfect!
Primitive grass campervan, tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Such a great site for off-grid camping. A large field with views over the valley and no light pollution so you can view the stars at night. The site has a compost toilet, a flushing toilet, a gas heated shower and a sink for washing up, along with a drinking water tap. Our kids loved the freedom to run around, and look at the chickens that are kept on site. The site owner is friendly and approachable and gave us a run down of how to use the facilities.
Great location for visiting the north and south of Cornwall.
The kids are already asking when we can go back!
Disliked No dislikes at all.

Primitive grass campervan, tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Absolutely stunning surroundings.
The lovely owner makes sure to keep numbers limited, so its very peaceful and quiet.
This campsite is the very definition of 'back to basics' which is exactly what we look for when camping.
My boy loved the chickens (who think they are dogs), fresh eggs, and the little swing on the wooden shack.
Wish we could have stayed longer!

Great customer service, really lovely and understanding.
Bell tent (basic)
Liked I was due to stay for 3 night in a bell tent but due to my children being poorly was unable to travel, when I spoke to the owner she was so nice and understanding and offered to rearrange our dates when everyone was well. We have now booked and again lovely and helpful owner can't wait to visit.

It really is a sunny patch with a view!
Primitive grass campervan, tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked We had a campervan and a tent. We could have both on the grass in the same pitch area. It really is the sun kissed meadow, there was loads of sunshine and a pleasant view, with birds singing. It did really feel like a short break in the country side.
Simple toilet and shower, hot water with good pressure.

It is a lovely little campsite off grid. Owner is very friendly.
Primitive grass campervan, tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked We enjoyed the warm welcome and friendly staff here.
Very helpful even via text or talk in person.
We enjoyed the quietness of the campsite and it being in such a rural location. Surrounded by farm noises- it was very enjoyable for my young children.
We also enjoyed the chickens on site.
Disliked I think it needs more toilets/ shower facilities. If there are more than a few parties staying and sharing one shower with 2 toilets (one compostable).
