  • Family-friendly 43-acre site surrounded by the Cornwall countryside
  • A 15-minute drive from Bude, Tamar Lakes and an adventure park
  • Woodland, fields and large lake on site; barbecues permitted
Sea pools, surfing and family-friendly rides… a 15-minute drive away from Bude, Tamar Lakes and The Milky Way Adventure Park, Spring Lakes Campsite, in the hamlet of Eastcott, has quite the reel of seaside activities and family-friendly spots within reach. And on site, there are 43 acres of peaceful space, including fields, woodland and a large spring-fed lake – all surrounded by the Cornish countryside. Slopes and the sea are the backdrops here… all the natural features make this a relaxing place to unwind with the family, a partner or whoever else you’ve brought along. Handily, the site permits barbecues, so this might be a good way to kick back in the evening – or perhaps you might want to watch the sunset over the lake. The site has a shower available so you’ll be able to freshen up, plus a portable toilet and a dishwashing area where you may take care of any grubby pans from your barbecue. Kilkhampton, five minutes’ drive away, has a small food shop where you’ll be able to stock up on food and snacks in advance. You’ll also be able to call in at one of the pubs here or perhaps pick up some fish and chips to take away elsewhere – you’re near the seaside, after all.
