What customers say
This peaceful, spacious campsite offers great value. Guests love Farmer Phil's welcome. Hot showers, fridge, freezer, microwave, and kettle are a big plus. Expect farm animal sounds but a relaxing atmosphere. Minor notes: update shower/toilet block, rough road access.

Perfect for families and couples. Dogs are allowed too. Great location
Powered grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Really lovely basic site. Just a field with real toilets and showers and also a kitchen with a fridge/ freezer, microwaves, toaster and kettle. A big bonus in my opinion. My kids loved it, it was quiet even though the cows are a great alarm clock and my daughter went to see the animals every day. The two goats seem more like two pet dogs…
Perfect area for exploring the lush north coast and you can find beaches with barely any people on even in August.
Disliked The loos and showers weren’t spotless but they were clean… housed many lovely insects and creatures and that had its own charm. No issues at all.

No fuss, practical camping. Lots of nice birds and some animals too.
Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked All your practical needs are covered. There's hot showers, hot water from the tap, drinking water, clean toilets, plenty of toilet roll, plenty of liquid soap, a washing machine and all in a well-lit area. I also enjoyed all the different birds I saw around the site.
Disliked I wouldn't say I had strong dislike feelings about anything but the access road is unsurfaced and a bit ropey for non 4wd vehicles.

Liked Great campsite. Friendly owner. Nothing is too much trouble
Disliked Site was busy so water pressure in the shower wasn’t good on day one but if you shower at quieter times it’s all good
