Highly recommended! Spacious, clean sites with stunning countryside/sea views & excellent facilities. Friendly owners, on-site pizza bar popular. Good base, but attractions require driving. Kids' play area a hit.

Nice small campsite
Primitive grass campsite
Liked Other field has a nice view over the hills. Clean toilets and showers. Pizzas and bar were good.
Disliked Booked non electric, was put on electric pitch right next to the loud bar with people talking and music playing. Hand driers went off all night keeping me awake too. Think I just got unlucky with my pitch as the rest of the campsite looked really nice. Toilets and washing up way too close to people trying to enjoy a drink at the bar.

One of the best sites we've visited, will definitely return.

Liked Wideacres is a beautiful site. A relatively small site in a lovely setting where nearly all pitches have a view of the sea.
Exceptionally clean, very friendly owners and great little bar with a pool table.
Disliked Nothing.

Primitive grass campsite
Liked A very pleasant campsite with far-reaching views to the coast from our non-electric pitch in the lower fields. The facilities are clean and hot water was available whenever we needed it. These is a walk into Boscastle from the site, which makes for a steep final ascent back (directions in the reception). However, the 2 hourly buses will stop at the approach road to the site.

Liked The campsite was small and staff were very friendly. Amazing views of the sea. Toilets and showers were always clean and there was plenty of hot water. The bar in the evening was great and the pizza's delicious with a gluten free option available.
Disliked There is no shop on site, but there is a farm shop a few minutes away.
