Woof. That’s your dog telling you to book a long, long Lingfield stay: the pitches at family-run Long Acres Caravan and Camping Park are pet-friendly (although there is a small extra fee for man’s best friend) – and there are lots of options for walkies in the surrounding Surrey countryside too. Whether you plan to use Long Acres to walk the dog (or be walked by the dog) or as a base to see the attractions of Surrey, human campers are also in for a treat at this friendly, well-maintained park. All pitches are set in a scenic, eight-acre hayfield and have access to a children's trim trail and swings. On site, there's also a small shop, firepits to hire and two spotless centrally heated toilet and shower blocks. For food, Lingfield village – with its shops, pubs, restaurants, takeaways and supermarkets – is a mile away. The High Weald National Landscape is a short drive south of the site, and the Surrey Hills National Landscape is a 10-minute drive to the north. Don’t lose your head with the huge range of historical highlights in the area either, starting with 13th-century Hever Castle & Gardens (20 minutes' drive), the childhood home of Anne Boleyn (boo to Henry Eighth) and with award-winning gardens, water maze with a mind of its own and what will probably be the fave of the kids – a 13th-century gatehouse with historical instruments of execution and torture.

Powered grass campsite

Liked Facilities were cleaned very well kept. Park was great for the children, lots of nature and wildlife, great options for extra offers with the pop up sauna / ice pool and the bar. Staff were really friendly and informative.

Disliked Toilets were quite a walk from the pitch
Quite small openings to pitches a bit tricky to navigate with a trailer.

Liked Location suited us and the generously sized pitch did have some tree cover as it was a warm weekend.

Liked Such a lovely site, huge pitches and lovely set out of the site - bathrooms were immaculate and really big ! Very modern, nice to have the bar open which made our evening.

Disliked Airplanes can get really noisy late at night, maybe not the best for young children, planes carry on till gone 12pm.

Primitive grass campsite

Liked Spacious pitches and grounds were kept well. Toilets were clean and well stocked. Easy to book in at reception. Pop up bar was open and the staff were friendly. Nice playground for children. Local pub a short walk through fields.

Disliked Right in the flight path for Gatwick Airport so was kept awake by planes coming in to land. No toilets or washing up facilities on the camping field so had to walk a long way to go to to the facilities.

Liked Great campsite, excellent facilities, toilets, showers, washing up area, everything was spotlessly clean.
Our electric hookup wasn't working the day we got there so I contacted reception and their maintenance man came straight out and sorted it for us.
Will definitely be back here

Liked Basically a nice site

Disliked Roadway ripped up and deep mud. Caused my car and caravan to get filthy.
Toilets and showers too far away from caravan.
Glamping customers allowed their kids to play football - which hit my car and caravan.
