Perhaps you’re travelling to Kent to spend some time exploring the area known as the ‘Garden of England’, or you just need a stopover before heading across the Channel. Maybe you’ve got the whole family with you, or your partner and dog – or you’re on a little solo break. Whatever kind of Kent camping break you’ve got in mind, you’ll be very welcome at Blandred Camping. You’ll be in an excellent location for both local jaunts and onward travel when you stay here – this spacious site is part of a working arable farm within the Kent Downs National Landscape, and you’ll be able to get straight out onto local footpaths for walks and bike rides to see some of your scenic surroundings. Despite the peaceful rural vibe on site, this is a very handy Kent location – Folkestone is about 10 minutes’ drive away, or you can reach either Canterbury or Dover within 20 minutes. And, of course, that means that cross-Channel ferries and Eurotunnel trains are very close by for those heading over to France. Sticking around on this side of the Channel? There are plenty of great days out nearby, whether you’re planning to take in the coastline, explore historic Canterbury or treat the kids to a day at a safari park. A bus stop at the end of the lane has services to Canterbury and Folkestone; routes that also handily stop outside a couple of favourite local pubs. This is a simple site, but the facilities (hot showers, flushing toilets and a cold-water washing-up area) are nicely maintained, and there’s plenty of space to pitch up and play games. Campfires and barbecues are welcome, but no music, thanks – this is a peaceful kind of place.

Liked Neun Sterne für den nachts idyllischen Campingplatz, sehr nette und hilfsbereite Platzwartin, Toiletten und Duschen im top Zustand.
Lage ideal um Fähren in Dover zu erreichen.
Pud in direkter Nähe.
Grauwasserentsorgung umständlich (in Eimer ablassen, teilweise über den ganzen Platz laufen müssen, um an einziger Stelle mit Chemietoilettenentsorgung auszugießen).
1 Stern für die Beschilderung bzw. für fehlenden DEUTLICHEN Hinweis zur Anfahrt:
Der Weg zum Campingplatz ist mit Verkehrsschildern (nur für Fahrzeuge unter 2m geeignet) beschildert.
Daher schickte uns (auch bei anderen Campern !) das Navi über einen Weg (Hoad Road) der wirklich später so eng wurde, das wir kaum noch vor und zurück kamen und die Seite unseres neuen Wohnmobils stark zerkratzte 🥺
BITTE UNBEDINGT auf Ihrer Internetseite darauf hinweisen, dass man den Campingplatz von der A260 nur über die Reece Lane anfahren darf und soll, um künftigen Campern die gleichen schlechten Erfahrungen zu ersparen, die wir gemacht haben !

Liked Accueil chaleureux. En pleine campagne, calme. Des grands emplacements. Installations sanitaires et autres impeccables. Proche du Shuttle, Douvres, la jolie petite ville de Canterbury. Je recommande +++ ce camping, j'y serais volontiers resté plus longtemps. M'y arrêterais lors d'un prochain road trip

Liked Beautiful views across fields and very clean and hot showers. Near a microbrewery which is open at weekends.
Great for channel crossing, 15 mins away.

Primitive grass campsite

Liked Warm welcome could pick your own pitch which was lovely and large. Lovely views and nice abd quiet site. Toilets and showers were kept clean. Mirco pub on site with a pizza takeaway

Disliked Only thing there was only 2 showers not that we had to wait but of site is busy you might have a wait

Liked Good sized pitch. Friendly welcome. Good toilets/showers/washing up facilities.
Great location for LeShuttle.
Nice touch to be able to hire fire pits/wood although not available whilst we were there due to recent hot weather.

Disliked Need more showers for the size of the site. Had to wait 20 minutes for shower.

Liked Warm welcome from the site.
The biggest plots I think we have ever come across.
The toilets were huge, well maintained.
Super quiet site and everyone very respectful of this. It’s a very busy arable farm, great for tractor spotting if that’s your thing.

Disliked There were a lot of rules emailed across which almost put us off.
