This peaceful Kent campsite offers ample space, with guests praising pitch freedom, clean facilities, and friendly hosts. Great for countryside exploring, with nearby pubs/historic sites. Some found the access road rough and the site tricky to locate. Aircraft noise is a minor, infrequent issue.

Primitive grass tent or RV campsite
Liked Lovely open field with lots of space. owner Helen was super friendly and very attentive and helpful. lovely walks in the area and close to a lovely pub. Not many amenity's on site but there is a toilet and water and they also can rent you a fire pit and can also buy fire wood from the. So not sure what more you need really!! The phone reception was also very good for being in the country side!
Disliked There was a fair few aeroplanes over head at night but really don't cause much of an issue. thats really the only downside we could think of but like i said its a very small issue

From the manager: Hi, thank you for your review. I’m pleased you enjoyed the freedom to pick your own spot and found the facilities clean.
I’m sorry you struggled to find us. We send step‑by‑step directions on email to every booking because satnavs can be unreliable here, and I’m always happy to help by phone if anyone is unsure (my number is provided in the email when you book, and also in the instructions email I send). It seems those instructions weren’t used, which is why you ended up at the wrong farm.
On pricing, we’re actually the cheapest campsite in the local area, and the listing on PitchUp is very clear that we offer a simple, no‑frills experience, clearly stating what facilities we provide. Many guests prefer this style and value the peace and space.
Lovely peaceful off-grid camping in the beautiful Kent countryside.
