What customers say
Highly recommended campsite with friendly owners & fantastic location. Animals are a big hit, especially with kids. Peaceful, secure, well-kept site. Eco-toilets had mixed reviews, but sustainability appreciated. Some animal noise & cramped during busy times noted.

Lovely campsite, would recommend for a short weekend break!
Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked We camped as a family.of 12, the campsite was lovely, had a little play area, not much in the playbarea BUT the children loved it!! The alpacas was the highlight of the children's time here! They also loved the goats and the pond!! We would definitely return again for a short trip!
Disliked The toilets were compost, which indodnt really like, but they worked and fulfilled there purpose! The showers could be a bit more insulated as you e ded up showering with all.the slugs and snails! Bit it was still clean enough.

Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked Easy to locate - not far from the garden centre and short drive to the town shops. Very secure access and CCTV monitored - hosts were onsite and approachable. Freedom to choose where we set up. The animals seemed well cared for - We were worried it would smell on a hot day but it didn't. We ordered chips from the Pizzeria, they were so tasty! They also sell Alpaca candles which was a cute touch.
Appreciated the hot water for washing up and well ordered recycling area.
Disliked Totally respect their ambition to be as green as possible with the toilets but they weren't pleasant to use. Some adjustment to the set up could improve this. I'm short so it was tricky to get on to the seat. There are foot steps to help with this but as they are stored directly underneath they didn't seem hygienic to handle.
