Sunnyside Farm Camping and Caravan Park (Chilham) is a small quiet campsite with just 12 pitches, positioned perfectly between the historic cathedral city of Canterbury and Ashford with its shopping outlet and train links to France and London.
If you like noise and running around playing ball games then we are not for you, but if you do enjoy peace and quiet, reading a book or just sitting and relaxing enjoying the birds singing with a breeze in the tree's then we may just have what you are looking for.
Sunnyside is set in the rolling hills of the Kentish countryside far enough away from the hustle and bustle, allowing for a relaxing slow-paced break.
It is the perfect place to use as a base for visiting the local attractions, sightseeing round places of interest or spend your days walking through the forests that are only a 5 to 10 minute drive away.
It's also an ideal spot for taking advantage of the numerous regional and national cycle routes, or sitting back and enjoying the views.
We welcome all caravans, motor homes and tents for both short and long breaks.

Route directions
From M2 continue to Canterbury on the A2, do not come off at Brenley corner as the roads are very narrow. From Canterbury take the A28 to Ashford for approximately four miles; turn right onto Shalmsford Road in the direction of Old Wives Lees. do not let your Sat Nav take you up Pilgrims Lane as it's very narrow, continue up towards Old Wives Lees for 100 yrds and we are on the left
Continue for approximately 700m passing the turning on the left for Pilgrims Lane ( Do not go up Pilgrims Lane). The site entrance is on the left.
If you are coming in from the M20 come off at Ashford and follow the signs for Canterbury for about 10 miles. 1 mile past Chilham take a left into shalmsford Road and continue as above.

We are a small family-run caravan and camping park, recently opened to share our beautiful surroundings with holidaymakers that appreciate peace and quiet.
Being conveniently positioned between Canterbury and Ashford our holidaymakers can either stay and enjoy the views across the Chartham Downs or visit the historic city of Canterbury.
With Ashford International terminal only 20 minutes away you can take a day trip across the Channel to France or head up to London.
For the hardened cyclists we have designated regional and national cycle routes that will take you through Canterbury, round the Kent coastline and return via Ashford.
Local pubs, restaurants and tearooms are located nearby in the stunning historic village of Chilham, where you can also visit a castle.
Also nearby is Badgers Hill Farm and Cidery which also has a farm shop selling local produce.
