Powered grass campsite
Liked Lovely spacious pitches with beautiful views. The children enjoyed the park.
Perfect location for exploring this part of the island.
The owners were very accommodating helpful.
Will definitely stay again
Disliked Just the showers, 20p for 5 minutes, 2 minutes used waiting for the water to come through warm enough to get in, but never reached a comfortable temperature.

Liked Perfect location for travelling around the island. The site was very peaceful, toilet and washing facilities all kept spotlessly clean, everything I needed.

Happy to recommend this site

Liked Great size pitch and prices. Fabulous if you're a plane spotter as low flying planes pass over frequently from the near by airport but mostly the site is very quiet. I got some great photos. Good wifi connection.
We would happily use again.
Disliked Facilities ok but could do with a refurbishment

A nice site with good links to buses and shops.
Powered grass campsite
Liked Nice small site with bus link a 5 minute walk, Cafe in a garden centre across the road was nice and a 10 minute walk away from morrissons and a Aldi also a Pub with food and a KFC. The site is a little dated but clean and quiet and good value, the pitches are in small groups with bushes separating the spots of 3 or 4.

Good site. Perfect for travellers who wish to explore without driving
Powered grass campsite
Liked Really friendly staff, accommodated our move when our pitch wasn’t to our liking. The site is in close walking distance of the Morrisons and Aldi and Screwfix if any repairs or tools needed. Also bus stop (Cheverton Shute) [w3ws: ///bitter.bulges.prevents] is really close for buses to Newport or Sandown and connections at Sandown high street make it seamless. Short walk to Lake Train Station too. Site itself had ok facilities, not the most amazing but does the job. Pitches are plenty big enough for a decent set up too.
Disliked There were some local’s on the site who looked like residents. Few times in the afternoon we’d hear a full blown domestic argument with plenty of swearing which did make the stay entertaining but isn’t exactly what you’d expect. Bins were often full, not big enough for the site really.
