This peaceful site is where to come to be close to nature on an ancient woodland within the gorgeous South Downs National Park. Adhurst Yurts is two miles from Petersfield in a pretty corner of the Hampshire countryside, a short distance from a river and on a 500-acre Victorian estate. Deer, otters, kingfishers and other species often pass this way, and you'll be in a prime position to experience all the wildlife in your secluded glamping accommodation. All accommodation units here come with a private outdoor safari kitchen and campfire area. Get ready for composting toilets, well-maintained hot showers or baths, proper iron beds with firm mattresses and firepits and logburners to keep you cosy when the weather is chilly. Outdoor skills instruction is bookable, whether you want to learn basketry or other types of bushcraft (book in advance). If you're with kids and want to learn more about the local wildlife, you can arrange river monitoring kits to help them examine the minibeasts and insects in the water. For early risers who want to catch the dawn chorus, bird walks are another possibility. You won't need a car while you're here, as you can walk to three different pubs along private footpaths straight from site.
