Excellent site, great ownership and really peaceful. Would stay again!
Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked Super quiet, saw Hares and Kestrels, views around it were beautiful, toilets and showers always clean and hot water, good water pressure, the owner was super helpful for local advice and ready to help. Well stocked camp kitchen and plenty of lovely little touches, helpful honesty shop too!
Disliked Honestly nothing, was a great stay!

Liked There’s so much to like about this campsite!
Lovely location,so many walks and great pubs in walking distance
Really friendly and knowledgeable owner,Hannah
Clean toilets and hot showers.
Super useful camp kitchen when you manage to forget your cutlery!
Disliked It’s a small spot so inevitably can be a bit noisy with other people’s children but that wouldn’t put me off from returning

Hannah, the owner is really welcoming and helpful.
Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked The village of Rockbourne is picturesque with lots of attractive thatched cottages, a fabulous pub ,old church, rolling hills and lots of footpaths to explore. Moreover it is within a designated dark sky area so on a clear night star gazing is amazing. Campsite itself is pretty basic but in a quaint way (shower and loos are in a shepherds hut style building, lovely farm-type semi open well- stocked communal kitchen) and I loved the fact that there was no electricity available at all on the site (so forget about charging your phone unless you have a charging pack!). Also, loud music and late night noisy gatherings are not permitted so after about 10.30pm, it's lovely and quiet (and dark!)This is a small campsite but a bit of a gem.
Disliked Can't really think of anything.

Primitive grass campervan campsite
Liked Location was fantastic, in a small village a few miles outside Fordingbridge.
Hannah was a great host and talked us through the site amenities and local area when we arrived. Great for walkers (dogs too). Plenty of walks directly from the campsite.

Excellent and would visit again.
Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked Campsite was well equipped with all that you would need. A great kitchen area and honesty shop. The showers were clean and the owner lovely. Annie her daughter was a credit to her keeping my nephew company looking for bugs. The area is lovely and quite and not too big, allowing a more intimate vibe. Also, loved the massage therapist on site.
Disliked Everything was good.

The most perfect staycation
Meadow bell tent
Liked This was honestly the most amazing weekend away! The area was perfect - close to so many beautiful towns/villages. The tent was super clean & the beds were comfy. There was also many blankets & cushions available for us. The campsite had everything we needed - a kitchen, warm showers & clean loos. There is also an option to have a fire which was great for us to sit around in the evening.
Hannah & Steve were also such lovely hosts - offering great recommendations, ensuring we had everything we needed, making sure loos/kitchen area was stocked up, & making sure we were back from the pub down the road in the evening (the Rose & Thistle pub which I highly recommend!).
