Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked This place is fantastic! We’ve been here twice this summer already. Hannah and Steve are always on hand to help if you need anything on your stay.
The site is clean, the toilets and showers are probably the cleanest I’ve seen on a campsite. The camp kitchen is a great addition with a gas stove and all utensils you’d need to prepare breakfast, an evening meal or just a cup of tea.
There are walks that you can go on around the campsite or you’re a short hop from the new forest or the beach.
This is a lovely peaceful campsite and we had a lovely stay and looking forward to visiting again soon.

Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked Lovely hosts and vibe around the campsite. Showers were warm and clean. Toilets were very clean and were cleaned daily. Some veg and salad straight from the field along with some basic options to buy on site. The kids loved the walk around the boundaries of the site, especially at night!
Disliked Nothing to do with the site, but I wouldn't say the pub (Rose & Thistle) was very child friendly.

Primitive grass campervan campsite
Liked Really lovely campsite. Very friendly welcome. Clean facilities. Fresh produce available to buy. Nice, chilled-out vibe. Perfect for families wanting a countryside getaway/camping experience.
Disliked Shame there's a no music policy, although I totally appreciate why. It's a minor thing and wouldn't stop us from coming back.

Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked Lovely friendly site, lots of space, quiet and well set up with shop selling produce grown on site, and sausages and burgers to boot. Fantastic location in beautiful village with pub, other pubs with cheaper food available over the hill, pleasant facilities, great with both dogs and children.
