What customers say
This is a simple, clean, and well-maintained campsite with plenty of space. Visitors praise the friendly and accommodating owners, the clean facilities including showers and toilets often housed in converted horseboxes, and the peaceful, rural location. It's ideal for those seeking a relaxed, back-to-basics experience with the freedom to pitch anywhere. Some mention limited facilities if busy and a suggestion for a recycling area.

Excellent campsite, flat pitches, clean facilities and super relaxing.
Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Lovely quiet campsite, owners were super friendly and helpful. Nice atmosphere and ease of access to drinking water. Toilets super clean.
Disliked Only one shower and two toilets but fortunately the campsite wasn’t too busy and didn’t have to wait very often. Other than that everything was amazing.

A basic but excellent campsite
Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked This is a campsite on the Camino de Ingles route where we stopped the night while hiking. It has very clean hot showers and a toilets. The owner was friendly and said as he wasn’t busy he wouldn’t hurry us out in the morning. The field was well kept, some farm animals nearby and lots of wild birds.
A quiet spot in the country side. Just what we needed.

Liked The site was simple but well maintained. Toilets and shower were clean and working well. Plenty of space, my two boys enjoyed the space to ride around on their bikes, as well as watching the sheep and horses in the adjoining field.

Fab and chilled site, all that is needed
Primitive grass travel trailer campsite
Liked Lovely view, quirky amenities in transformed horse boxes, extremely chilled site and the owners very friendly and accommodating.
Would definitely recommend, we were in a campervan and used battery for electric and numerous water taps available for fresh supplies.
Rubbish area clean and tidy, would have liked a recycling area too, but thats ok we took on with us and placed in separate bin (not a complaint just a suggestion)

Great site it only a few campers and short stay
Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked The toilets and showers were clean, well maintained and the camp site was lovely an quiet. Great sight for star gazing as no artificial lights from nearby towns.
Disliked If the field was full, then the limited facilities could be over used and may need to wait a long time. Not much to do in walking distance.

Welllooked after field, proper toilets (in horse box) +powerful shower
Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Nice flat field.
Enough toilets.
Hot shower.
Water on tap
Disliked There is a cable (telegraph maybe) in the field, but if you are going to be throwing a frisbee or launching a rugby ball you can just situate yourself at a different end of the field.
Be aware the exits to the field are onto a quick road with no pavement, but exits are well fenced off and there is no concern for kids escaping.
