Liked: Loved being in the woods surrounded by trees. Every pitch is fairly secluded so it really feels private. Great walks straight from the site. Fresh water on site and there’s a compost toilet too.

The pitches were very private and hidden away from everyone.
Lots of pitches to chose from.
Disliked: Not a dislike but lower cars might struggle driving round the Forrest.

Liked: It was quiet and you were far away from other campers. In fact we hardly saw anyone. There was toilet paper.
Disliked: Hardly any facilities - just a toilet. No showers or even water. It was hard to work out what were pitches and what were just paths through the woods. When we finally did find something that looked like a pitch, there was hardly enough room for our tent and there were loads of brambles in the area. All this for 30 quid a night!

Liked: As soon as I booked, Ian messaged messaged me and thanked me for my booking. He emailed within the hour with accurate directions.
I camped with a tentbox and 2 birth tent with my sister and 2 dogs. The area was stunning. Very secluded and spacious. You can set up where you like. We camped in the woods. There are compost toilets which were very clean. I would definitely recommend and will definitely stay again.

Liked: We loves our stay at Holmans wood. Thw first day we had the whole site to ourselves. We took some lovely walks and had a perfect pitch for our car, tent, food and fire pit. We would definitely return to this spot. Its not more than a half hour drive from our home so it's ideal. Ian was such a great help with information and came to check in on us to see We had everything we needed. Was a lovely quiet place.
