Power optional grass campsite
Liked A nice friendly campsite with a community feel. Kevin and Chris were really friendly and helpful during our stay. Providing us with a bbq and fire pit and tips of where to visit in the local area. Showers were clean with lots of hot water and had everything you need in them including a hairdryer in each cubicle. Make sure you have 20p on you for your shower. Pub on site seemed really popular. Good location for Battle, beaches, vineyards and Bodiam castle
Disliked Would be handy if the camp shop stocked just a few more camping essentials ie small camping gaz canisters .

Not for me and seems a theme for noisy weekends
Power optional grass travel trailer campsite
Liked Showers were adequate but needs cleaning .
Water was hot .
Bar on site - didn’t visit
Disliked Hard standing pitch 6 was constantly boggy , assume a burst pipe with a slow leak
This isn’t a touring site more a residential park with a few spaces
On the last night of staying , a residential caravan , which was no more than 10 meters from the warden / point of contact for the site .
Music being played until 1:30 am and loud
Very annoying and felt there wasn’t really rules for the site .
Showers should be free
Wouldn’t return

From the manager: Thank you for your comments sorry we didn’t reach your expectations but we are only a small site and we are very cheap. We can’t do four-star camping in such a small site as you can see from the other reviews of which are mostly 10s most of the time we are sorry, but we can’t keep everyone happy all the time. We try our best
Was expecting better facilities.shop, bar and reception.
Power optional grass campsite
Liked Pleasant little campsite, well kept and friendly.
Disliked Clubhouse only open weekends (not on website) which was a shame. Also the shop/reception was small and unwelcoming.
