Cracking site, professionally run.
Powered cement/asphalt travel trailer campsite
Liked Everything was very organised with clear signs and instructions exactly where it is needed. Site and facilities immaculately clean. Never met the owners / managers but never needed to it was all very smooth and clear. Proper waste disposal as well for black and grey waste (drive over), unlike some sites we’ve stayed on recently! Lovely pub as well about 10 mins walk across a couple of fields, again clear directions on the notice board.

Liked Great site, well located for visiting the Forest of Bowland. Views of Pendle Hill and countryside. Facilities were good, there’s only 2 showers and 2 cubicles in each block but it wasn’t a problem despite the campsite being full.
Disliked The no noise after 10.30 pm rule was not enforced and one group of campers were very loud, drinking and using bad language until 1am. Fortunately we only had to put up with them for one night as they left the next morning.
Would have been nice to have a proper welcome, we never really met the owner.

Liked One of the most scenic campsites we’ve been to. Just beautiful. Very easy, problem free. Everything well thought out. Shower blocks, clean tidy and practical. Very happy with stay and would book again and recommend to anyone. Pods are lovely as well as the tents.
Disliked There was a lot of noise on a nighttime. After 11pm until around 2am there were people shouting, laughing, kicking why sounded like a ball around. This is not the sites fault but ignorant other campers. When we told the owners the next day they responded promptly to messages and encouraged us to call the house phone if it happened again. But we didn’t want to get the back out the next night. So not their fault but maybe helpful for the owners to do a nightly walk round of site to check people are winding down.

Never met the owners i assume the bloke on the quad owned the place.

Liked Big pitches and free choice with hard standing, toilets and showers were spotless. Wifi worked well
Disliked Had some idiots in tents getting loud and pissed all night with music on and fires going so site just stank of smoke all night. No point advertising "quiet" time if they don't enforce it.

From the manager: Really sorry for the noise. As soon as we were made aware of the problem we spoke to the people and checked later on in the evening aswell. This isn't normal for our site which is usually a relaxing stay.
