What customers say
Friendly, welcoming hosts and stunning views are highlights. Facilities are clean and basic, ideal for short stays. Some guests noted limited facilities like a single toilet and lack of showers, and a few experienced uneven pitches.

Fantastic views for some time out in the Lancashire countryside.
Primitive grass tent campsite (small)
Liked The welcome was great and the camping field cleaning with fantastic peaceful views of the hills. Great views for the sunrise and sunsets. Easy access to the public footpaths around Beacon Fell. The shepherd hut toilet block was clean and all you need for basic camping and short stays.
Disliked No dislikes but I guess shower facilities would be a bonus if you wanted to stay longer as a tent camper.

Nice site in a great location with very good views of the fells.
Primitive grass tent campsite (small)
Liked Very friendly reception from the owners on arrival. We found a good flat pitch with great view's of the fells.
There are lovely villages and towns, within reach, for supplies and such.
We would certainly come back here again.
Disliked The toilet facilities are really nice and also very clean. Some people may find it limiting, if the site is quite full, as there is only one. Also there is just a sink and no shower, however the price reflects this and is very reasonable considering how nice the site is.
