What customers say
This small, peaceful woodland campsite is highly recommended for its cleanliness, friendly and helpful staff, and beautiful natural surroundings. Guests enjoyed lovely walks, including to a nearby waterfall, and praised the good facilities. Friday pizza nights were a highlight, fostering a great communal atmosphere. Some noted the narrow access road and occasional issues with toilet code access. Overall, a tranquil and well-maintained spot ideal for nature lovers.

Liked Such a special campsite. It really feels like you are wild camping in the woods, yet you also have all the facilities you need.
Situated in woodland and completely quiet, we had an amazing week here.
Staff are really friendly and a kettle and microwave are also provided free of charge.
I also highly recommend the pizzas if you are here on a Friday night. They are really amazing.
Disliked If you dislike it here, I really don't think camping is for you.

Liked Lovely campsite that is like being in the woods with all big trees around you.
Very clean and everything you could want.
Close to 2 small pubs but very nice one 20 mins walk. Free fire pits. A nice cosy site.
Disliked They allow group bookings which we found annoying with music and screeching till very late but to be fair owners were contactable straight away and dealt with problem guests straight away. Couldn't fault them.

From the manager: Hi Amanda, thank you for your review 🙂 we don't actually allow group bookings, the 4 people in question had booked as 2 adults (as they were over 18) and 2 children (as they were under 18). Unfortunately, with an online booking system, this is difficult to monitor. Rest assured, we have never had this issue before and it was definitely a learning curve for us. I dealt with the issue immediately, and thankfully they calmed down after 😊 Thanks, Jessy

Amazing beautiful spot.
Primitive cement/asphalt campervan or trailer tent campsite (large)
Liked Amazing little spot. In woodland with beautiful views. Clean facilities including toilets, shower and a kitchen with kettle, microwave and toaster. Close to a lovely little town with multiple pubs and eateries. Close to links to Manchester by road and a bus route direct to the city. I would definitely use this spot in the future when in the area. Also a waterfall short walk though the woods. Excellent phone signal due to 5g mast in the town.

Theres fire pits on the pitches, kettle and microwave available and facilities are really clean. 5 minute walk away we saw deer that made my childrens trip.
