What customers say
This friendly, well-located working farm campsite offers stunning views & direct access to walking trails. Guests rave about the welcoming hosts, clean basic facilities (£1 showers), and charming farm animals. Well-served by public transport with a nearby bus stop for easy access to Keswick and the Lake District. Despite some early morning farm noise and limited phone signal, it's highly recommended for a peaceful, back-to-basics stay.

Powered cement/asphalt RV campsite
Liked We loved everything about this place. We’ve stayed before and loved it. The owner is so lovely and inviting, the place is peaceful considering it’s on a road. It’s a great hub for a lot of places.
Animals were lovely and friendly too, a goat was randomly wondering about one night and it was so lovely.
Allows BBQs and campfires, just all round good place.

Excellent site with the basics but beautiful.
Powered cement/asphalt RV campsite
Liked This is a wonderful, small site in a farm with friendly humans and animals! We enjoyed a peaceful stay with beautiful views. There was a cafe/bar 2 mins at the bottom of the lane and a pub 15 min walk the other way. We were well placed to explore Keswick, Grasmere, Ambleside and Windermere. The bus outside the farm takes you to Kendal a lovely hour and 15 min drive.
