One of the Lake District's most imposing locations, you'll find this unspoiled National Trust site puts much of the area's finest scenery and walking right outside your tent. Great Langdale valley offers some of the most striking scenery in all of lakeland. The campsite looks along the valley and upwards to the impressive Langdale Pikes, which are surely nature at its most dramatic. Fell walkers and climbers can take their pick from Scafell Pike, White Ghyll and Raven Crag, while walkers of a gentler disposition will enjoy the rolling paths of Lingmoor and Little Langdale. Either way, it is impossible not to feel uplifted by the magnificence of the scenery at Great Langdale.
