Loved it. Quiet location, Really nice lady who runs it.
Power optional grass and gravel travel trailer campsite
Liked The whole site was nice. Pitches are a good size. Very quiet in the evenings. Very well presented.
I liked the fact that the electric was pay as you go. £2 worth lasted me the weekend easily. So it was better than paying £5+ a night for electric.
There were no toilets or showers which isn't a drama. But there were bins and fresh water without having to walk miles which was really good.
Private entrance from the main road. Behind a pair of gates.
I have a WiFi router in the caravan and the 4G in the area was really good too
I will be visiting again
Disliked Only tiny niggle for me which was nothing overly wrong but the grass was a bit on the long side. So walking in the wet grass I got wet feet. However my rabbit loved it. But these things happen. So it's not really a dislike.
Just need to mention that there's some sports fields behind the camp site. On Sunday morning there was some young football matches on so there were some shouting and the usual youth football sounds.

Only stayed for one night, but expect that we will be returning for a longer stay next year.

Good halfway stopover if travelling from Scotland to the ferry ports

Liked We were a late arrival but were welcomed nicely by Julie who settled us in quickly. Woke up to a lovely sunny morning and were later shown where we could dispose of our waste and take on water.
 Disliked Nothing.

Excellent site. Friendly welcome from Julie.
 Primitive grass campsite
Liked Birdsong! Surrounded by trees. A little traffic noise at a distance but not disturbing at all. Lovely dog-walking field - my dog at home but I enjoyed the walk! The site is far fancier than I was expecting from the description - in the sense of feeling like a full club site but in miniature.
