Primitive grass tent campsite

Liked East Peak site was basically two grass fields with two portaloos on top of a hill but the views were great and it was a very convenient location for exploring the north east area of the Peak District. Patrick the owner was friendly and helpful. He was there a lot of the time looking after the site and the toilets were kept immaculately clean. He gave us useful information on local places to eat and visit. There was plenty of space between tents/campervans and the site was fairly level. It was peaceful and had a calm atmosphere. The cost per person was low, making the site very good value for money if you like 'no frills' camping.

Disliked A bit exposed to the elements as it was fairly wet and windy during our stay but no real problems.
