What customers say
Beautiful, peaceful, well-kept grounds with stunning lake views. Great for anglers! Level pitches with hookups. Friendly owners, clubhouse bar. Lacks restrooms, but that's advertised. Some found entry gates tight.

Liked Friendly welcome, good communication before arrivals and very accommodating.
Very quiet, calm and peaceful site with amazing views. We stayed one night as a stop off point on our journey. Perfect for anyone who likes fishing.
Disliked Not really a problem as we used our own facilities but a toilet block would be nice. It was very clear when we booked there was no toilets however for a short stay it’s fine.

Liked Location is picturesque, nice quiet, relaxing vibe. Pitches have plenty of space with water and electric hookup provided. The club house is open during the day for a refreshing drink or a nice sandwich.
Disliked Only downside was the lack of toilet/shower block but only relevant for those without.

Liked The site is under new ownership, and we stayed several times under previous ownership. Glad to say that site is operating just as it used to, and we enjoyed our stay having picked a glorious week of sunshine. The views are absolutely stunning here, the site is quiet, clean, and the lakes for fly fishing are superb. Looking fwd to our next visit.
Disliked nothing!

Liked Peaceful and charming village within easy walking distance.
Owners were really nice.
Disliked Dogs off leads. We had 5 next to us which fortunately were very nice and friendly and owners watched and cleaned up after them. The other side had 2 dogs one of which was a barker and they did not clean up after them.

Liked The lake
Disliked The price. £35.50 for one night to stay somewhere that does have toilet facilities but only anglers are allowed to use. Nothing at the site, we arrived at 7:30pm on the friday and left by 8am the next morning. We’ve paid less for sites with toilet and shower facilities with a bar and restaurant.
