  • Family-run touring park five minutes' drive from Snaith
  • Within 45 minutes' drive of attractions in Leeds, York and Hull
  • Easy access to M62, M18 and A1; pub with a small beer garden on site
Get set to get busy – family-run touring site Apple Blossom Caravan and Camping Park, 15 minutes’ drive from Goole, is in a cracking East Yorkshire location for lots of days out. This handy spot is surrounded by quiet countryside but within easy reach of several main roads (including the A1, M18 and M62 – good news for straightforward arrivals and departures too). It’s also within easy reach of the market town of Snaith, a five-minute drive away for pubs, a deli, a chippy and a small supermarket. Those excellent road connections mean that a whole swathe of the north east becomes doable for day trips: shopping days in Leeds, ambles on the Shambles in York and coming face to face with underwater critters at The Deep in Hull are all around a 45-minute drive away. Snaith’s also got a train station if you fancy abandoning your wheels for the day. If you’re more in the mood for country pursuits, take a wander on the nature trail that passes the site, play a round of golf 10 minutes’ drive away, or bring bikes to pedal off on the network of cycle paths nearby. Apple Blossom Caravan and Camping Park is not a party site, but instead a family site. There’s plenty of space to recuperate after whatever activity you selected, including a pub with a small beer garden on site. Pitches are sizeable and well marked out, allowing for outdoor seating, barbecues, firepits and chimineas (these last few on a hard surface please, to avoid scorching the well-tended grass). Nippers can let off steam at the play park in the meadow (it's designed for under-12s and open from 10am to 8pm each day; kids must be supervised at all times).

Highly recommended, friendly, clean campsite with spacious pitches. Loved the on-site pub, coffee caravan, food trucks, playground, and family field. Staff are welcoming & helpful. Some found shower facilities limited at peak times & had minor temp/pressure issues.

10-amp powered grass campsite

Liked Spent 3 days here and could of stayed longer. Such a lovely sight, so many little special touches in the facilities and around the site. We stayed on the 10 amp grass pitches was huge. Pub was lovely and great prices and atmosphere. The shower and toilet facilities were great and they were cleaned several times a day. The coffee van was a fantastic little treat coffee and amazing cake. Also being able to get a takeaway delivered to the site was needed after putting the tent up in the gale force winds 😂 100% be coming back again . Lovely chilled family site ♥️

10-amp powered grass campsite

Liked Absolutely everything

This is a lively, clean, well maintained sitw with lovely staff and facilities.

We stayed on the horseshoe electric pitches that are absolutely huge, well marked out and pretty flat. We had loads of space for our tent, porch, car and area for our cocker spaniel to roam on her long lead.

The showers and bathrooms are excellent and always clean and we stocked. We loved the use of the kitchen area to keep our freezer blocks frozen and although we didn't use it, the washer is a great addition for longer stays.

The bar is lovely, well stocked snd super friendly, our pup loved going in and people watching, she was always welcomed. The shop has lots of little bits and pieces, including wine, which was needed after pitching with a grumpy teenager 😆

One of our highlights was the Friday pizza van, well priced, huge pizzas and absolutely gorgeous.

This was the first stop of a 3 week camping and glamping adventure around the North and central England. If we hadn't alr3ady booked our return sites we would have come back on the way back up north for sure.

Even torrential rain and a weather warning storm on pack up day didn't ruin an amazing experience.

Thank you to everyone at Apple Blossom we will 100% be back.

Disliked Not a thing except having to leave

10-amp powered grass campsite

Liked Absolutely everything!! The pitches are a very generous size and the owners are lovely and so helpful! When we checked in we were greeted by Paula and she was amazing!! Explained everything in detail and she was great with my younger children! All the facilities were very clean and tidy at all times and the adult only showers are a win for 5 minutes peace from the children!!

Disliked Nothing!!!

10-amp powered grass campsite

Liked Size of the individual pitch is huge, lovely clean showers and toilets. (The electric showers didn’t work very well though). The little coffee caravan is a brilliant idea and the cakes are lovely too. The on site bar is very friendly, they have a few little games for kids (although we took our own board game up to play), prices are very reasonable in the pub too. The shop doesn’t have much stock but good for the odd thing you might forget. The use of an inside kitchen with fridge/freezer and microwave. Also a coin operated washer if you need it. The grounds were very well kept. Nice friendly place. We will be back next year

Disliked The electric showers in the ladies and gents weren’t very good.maybe need gravity fed showers like the adult only ones

10-amp powered grass campsite

Liked Brilliant site, lovely and clean well maintained. We were there with family and our dog.(age range from 6-64) coffee hut is a genius idea, (bring plenty of change)the on site pub is also brilliant, dogs allowed in and games to play. There are plenty of lovely clean showers and toilets (although the electric showers are a bit disappointing). The on site reception/shop is also good,( they even had a temporary tooth filling !!). The bottom field ,the meadow has a small park and loads of space for kids and adults to play ball games etc. If I was to be picky I’d say maybe the play park could do with an upgrade. But that didn’t stop my grandkids loving it. All in all a perfect experience and weather too ❤️Thankyou The Grahams !

10-amp powered grass campsite

Liked Very clean and tidy site. Very well organised. The onsite pub - including real ale (and good ale) - lovely.

And if you need a stop-over for Armitages (A-Frame etc); 20 minutes away.

Disliked One shower in the guys loo is a little too few…but this is being overly critical.

Meadow primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite (wild)

Liked Very spacious pitches which allowed for privacy. We were recommended the quiet side of the meadow as children tend to play a lot towards the front end.

Very pleasant atmosphere overall. Facilities were good and the pub on site was very nice and friendly.

Disliked There was nothing we didn't like.

Meadow primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite (wild)

Liked The park for my little boy, pub with very affordable prices and the little caravan with treats in it 😄

Disliked Only downside is we went to get food from pizza truck and enquired about it. They said it takes half an hour to cook..we went to get money ( only accepts cash) and when we came back they sold out which was a pain to say we only just went up. So had to travel elsewhere for food. Plus it was only 7pm

Local attractions

York (40 minutes’ drive) is always a good choice for a day out: experience the sights and smells of days of yore at the Jorvik Viking Centre, see the old trains at the National Railway Museum or take a wander around the city centre, visiting the minster and taking a walk on the Shambles. Intrigued by a tempting sweet smell? That could well be the lure of York's Chocolate Story, where you can learn about its history and see professional chocolatiers in action. Shopaholics and cultured types will always find plenty to keep them busy over in Leeds (45 minutes), and those who can’t get enough of the natural world should aim for outings to the Yorkshire Wildlife Park (35 minutes), and Hull’s excellent aquarium The Deep (45 minutes). Ready for a rural day? Take walks locally or ride bikes to meet the friendly animals that live at Bankend Tearoom (20 minutes’ walk) or stroll into Snaith (an hour) to take a tour of Old Mill Brewery and sample some of its fine wares.
