Approach Farm Caravan Site is a family owned and run site for caravans and motorhomes, the Gowthorpe family, have operated for over 30 years. The site offers 16 electric pitches on a 1.25 acre grass site on our working arable and beef farm. The site is peaceful, relaxing and quiet, and benefits from w/c and games room. Pitch charges are £14 per night (£15per night for bank holidays). Please see our website for a comprehensive list of charges.

Route directions

Our site is 7 miles south of York, follow the A19 towards Selby through Ecrick village, we are about 2 miles further on, on the left hand side, look out for garden sheds for sale on the right hand side, the turning for Hollicarrs is the next left. If you miss it there is another turning half a mile further on. From Selby take the A19 north towards York, pass by Osgodby on your left and Riccall South on your right, on your left you will now pass Riccall, as you reach the last few houses of Riccall there is a staggered junction, left into Riccall then right to Hollicarrs, take the right hand road. If you miss it there is another turning half a mile further on. Ours is a tarmac drive with a line of mature Beech trees along one side, halfway along this loop of the old A19.
