What customers say
A friendly, well-kept site in a beautiful spot with great walk access. Guests love the spacious pitches & on-site bar/pizza. Clean, ample facilities, though some note they're a bit dated. Welcoming staff. Many would return.

Wish we had stayed longer. Can’t wait to return!
Powered grass campsite
Liked What a fantastic site. So much care and attention to everything and everything is spotless with the most amazing views 360 degrees. The bar is so cosy and the pizzas were the best I have had!! We can’t wait to come back and stay for longer. Nice so see so much wildlife around like the sheep in the next field, Cute rabbits basking in the sun and the most amazing sunsets. Ross is always on hand if you need anything. Highly recommended with a great vibe.
Disliked Nothing to dislike everything is perfect

Powered grass campsite
Liked Spacious pitches, location near to good walking areas. Pizzas, bar. Helpful staff.
Disliked Some washing facilities overused, ie those by entrance would be good to have clearer directions to others.
Proximity to very busy road (but I know that can't be helped)

Liked Great location, lovely friendly staff, cabin was really clean, 100% value for money, stunning views, everything you want in a campsite
Disliked Could do with a lamp or something in the cabin, when my child was trying to go to sleep the rest of us had to sit in the dark 🤣

Primitive grass campsite
Liked Loved the site and location great bar and friendly help staff
Disliked Large party that thought it was acceptable to reserve non electric pitches for others then pitch up with there tent about a foot away from my awning then when the staff did move them only to block any views I had

Great site and setting but some facilities need a bit of attention
Powered gravel and cement/asphalt travel trailer campsite
Liked Beautiful location in an amazing setting, spacious pitches, great to have a bar on site. All the team were very friendly and helpful.
Disliked The toilets and showers were in need of some attention both in terms of consistent facilities in them (some have no hanging pegs etc.) and they were also very well used so would have benefitted from more regular cleaning.
Also the lack of a designated Motor Home Service Point with ground level grey water disposal would be useful.

Powered grass campsite
Liked Great location, friendly owners, good facilities onsite.
Very reasonable price per night and drinks in the bar.
The pizza night was also excellent.
Disliked Nothing really, if anything a few pot holes need filling in on the track to the pitches.

WE fill the pot holes in the winter. but it does slow traffic down on the part so acts as a good deterrent
Thank you
