Disliked We had reserved a camping spot at 'Abbey Falls Campsite' . Upon arrival, the campsite turned out to be an empty field. There was a small shed with a toilet and shower, but only cold water. There was no one else at the campsite. No manager, no guests. There was a note saying someone would come by at 7:30 pm to check. We didn't feel safe setting up our tent, leaving our belongings, and visiting the city of Ripon. There was no supervision, and everyone has access to this field.
Therefore, we decided not to camp here. We informed the contact person (manager) by phone.

Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked Well i have to say i booked this last minute and didn't know what to expect with a pop up campsite, but boy oh boy it didn't disappoint. The field is huge with 2 male and 2 female toilets that were very clean. The showers (cold) were excellent too as the weather was scorching, so refreshing. There was also a s/steel sink for washing up and a tap for drinking water..... everything you needed for a basic campsite, but it was perfect for our needs. I will certainly be going back. The owner made an effort to meet everybody and he was so friendly. The whole weekend was perfect.
