What customers say
Spotless, well-kept site. Spacious pitches, excellent toilets/showers. Popular clubhouse & restaurant. Great location near town/beach. Minor gripes: no pot-washing station, some fishing lake issues resolved. Peaceful, quiet, great for relaxing.

Level pitch toilets clean , and site warden was very helpful .
Powered grass travel trailer campsite (large, maximum 8 metres)
Liked Was told that someone else had got our pitch and that there was a bit of confusion over surnames. But ended up on a better pitch thanks to the warden, who was very helpful. Site was very clean no noise at nighttime .
Disliked The only dislike I have is one of the bar staff , I found to be ignoring customers at the bar , it wasn’t has the bar was busy 2 at most at the bar .I don’t know if she was having a bad day but a smile wouldn’t go amiss and manners . Has I was brought up to say please and thank you. I said to my wife that I felt like I done something wrong. Felt like as though she was forced to serve me .

Liked Hard standing pitches are a great size. Great facilities. Wonderful pub/restaurant on site (does great meals) with an entertainment bar and games room. Lovely and quiet site. Bus stop at the end of the sites drive. Nice little pond with ducks and geese plus a small area of a few holes to play a game of golf on site too.

Great site, sort out your publishing and your kitchen staff.
Powered grass travel trailer campsite (large, maximum 8 metres)
Liked Great, personal, warm arrival when we were given written instructions & information about the site, the clubhouse & how to access the toilets etc. Good sized pitch, hard standing for the van & grass for awning.
Disliked Sadly, the club house made the rules up as that went along. The warden had advised that if quiet they would shut at 8pm, which we completely understand, they are business first & foremost, however the given paperwork stated that meals ( the old people’s option) on a Tuesday was available from 12 to 8pm. Hubby went down at 4:45 to be told it had changed and it was now 5:45 so I dashed to the shower & arrived at the clubhouse at 5:40pm to find nobody behind the bar as they were busy serving food, which I understand. The bar lady nodded at me as she came out with pre good orders & I waited for her to be available, now 5:46. She took my order & looked at the clock, saying “ I need to check with cook she’ll do it. On her return she said “No”. She added that she’d made her aware of when we’d arrived and that I’d waited for her to serve me. Cook’s decision was” No I’m off home”.
We gave the benefit of the doubt and went back the following night at 6:35pm to find the door locked and the place in darkness.
It appears that The tail is wagging the dog, no management present, the girl behind the bar was so embarrassed & apologetic, a real trooper.
