  • Adults-only hardstanding pitches five miles from the coast
  • A 10-minute drive from Hornsea and 20 minutes from Beverley
  • 10 acres of land for dog walking; walk to a pub and a garden centre
Peaceful breaks are in store at Catfoss Park, a well-maintained, adults-only site five miles from the coast. With hardstanding pitches, all supplied with water, this is the sort of place where you can take things at your own pace. There are 10 acres of land for any morning or evening dog walks, and quiet country lanes in the surrounding area, which are just the thing for longer walks or cycling. On a quiet day, you might want to take it easy and visit one of four local villages with at least one pub. These include Brandesburton, which has a handful of pubs five minutes’ drive away, or Seaton, which has a pub within 40 minutes’ walk of the site. There’s also a large garden centre with a restaurant 20 minutes’ walk away if you fancy pottering around the plants and eating something nice. The days where you’re seeking a little more action might be spent in Hornsea, which is 10 minutes’ drive from Catfoss Park. This traditional Victorian seaside town has a peaceful beach and a promenade should you wish to go for a scenic stroll. Rinse off the sea water when you arrive back on site, as the facilities include a shower and a toilet block.

Powered cement/asphalt and grass travel trailer campsite

Liked: Friendly and helpful owner. Small site but roomy pitch with individual water and electric hook up . Ideal if you want a quiet stay and don’t mind having to drive for local shops, pubs and beaches but all are not far away. The toilet/ shower block was clean and only a short walk from the pitches.
An ideal spot if you have a dog with some nice walks around the area. An ideal spot to watch some spectacular sunsets.

Disliked: We didn’t dislike anything but accept the spot isn’t for everyone.

Liked: Site

Disliked: Showers was a problem for two of the four days. When asked site owner for help with them he was there to deal with the problem very quickly. There’s no hooks for towels or places to hang shower gel. Nowhere to put clothes. Would help if there was a mop for the shower room floor as that would allow people to Leave the shower room in a clean safe condition for the next user.

Liked: Lovely, friendly, quiet and clean. Also loved Bill's collection of military vehicles. AMAZING TO SEE

Disliked: 3-4 miles from shop or pub/restaurant. Not really an issue with transport, but too far to walk
