Potential, but needs negatives addressing
Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked It has the makings of being a really good site, if only the owners took notice of the repeated negative comments being left!
Disliked I was hoping to not agree with previous negative comments, but sadly they are all true! The site is easy to find from the road, but you follow the grass track to the field, which isn't signposted. This is a minor point though.
The worst part is the toilet/shower block. Although very clean and looks nice, it is currently impractical. There is a amount of space needed for each toilet cubicle which allows you to sit on the loo and close the door. The owners haven't taken this into account, your knees are pretty much touching the door! And toilet roll wasn't present in all the loos (a really basic requirement that was missed)
The sinks make being with someone else there very intimate!
And the heating for the showers really doesn't work at all! No matter what you do, its freezing cold! I agree with others, if there is a magic formula to work the gas boiler in there, then the owners really need to put instructions on each shower door to help people!
Finally, I have never been to any campsite, wild or otherwise when the owners didn't show their faces at all!
Im afraid it smacks of not really caring!
I would feel very sorry for the people paying a lot of money to stay in the glamping tents, currently I don't think the owners have got the basics in place to warrant the high price you would pay!

Good value for money at this quiet campsite with necessary facilities
Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Quiet site - very little noise apart from the birds. Clean toilet and shower block, even if a little compact. Large choice of clearly marked pitches on arrival. Good ground conditions with gentle slope.
Disliked The entrance could have been better signed as it's fairly inconspicuous and labelled as the farm, without any reference to camping.

Clean facilities, very quiet, great location.
Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Very flat site.
Washrooms were very clean.
Toilet rolls wrapped in paper.
The setting is brilliant especially for sunrise and sunset.
Very quiet site.
Disliked Lack of signage after the first sign at the roadside.
No check in from host/owner/manager/staff making me wonder if I was in the right place.
Shower was only hot for about 45secs before going cold. Then had to switch off and start again.
No hot water at washing up sink.

Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Excellent raw camping site - Good showers and amenities. Only 10 minute stroll into Flamborough where there is almost everything anyone would need. Perfect size pitches too.
Really good directional instructions via Email - found the site no trouble at all.

Liked Toilet facilities are decent and clean
Spacious site, fantastic location for visiting Flamborough Head and Dane Dyke.
Good shower pressure
Disliked Not enough showers. Toilets out of toilet roll. Almost strange to have no check-in, just helps to be able to ask questions

Washing facilities 🤷🏼
Lack of loo paper 😳
This has the potential to be a great campsite. The location is great for access to Flamborough, Sewerby, Bridlington, Filey and Scarborough. However the facilities are lacking.
The washroom block although, looks OK requires work. The hot water for washing does not appear to be connected. If it is, then It would probably be a good idea to provide instruction on the use of the heater. The showers were connected to the gas but lacked instructions and were ineffective. My son returned who is 14 and quite resourceful came back from the shower dry and advised he had no clue of how to turn it on. On inspection, I found the tap was a washing machine type valve, on opening the valve, the gas boiler ignited an quickly reached 40°C (according to the digital reading), then just as quickly, it dropped to 18°C where it remained. It is worth noting that a comfortable shower temperature is typically between 37°C and 41°C...18°C is not comfortable. The only way to overcome this was to close the valve, turning the water off and reopening it. The downside to this method was that the temperature went from 18°C to 40°C quickly and just as quickly dropped to 18°C, not much of a fix, I know. It should also be noted that I checked both showers and the left-hand side one performed as described above, the right-hand side wasn't as good 😊. Several other campers also mentioned the underwhelming performance of the shower. Other than that, toilet roll and hand drying roll seemed to be available at the beginning of our stay, but lacking at the end.
These could be teething problems as I understand this is a new site. These issues are easily resolved. A Dummies Guide to the showers should be displayed, the hot water issue is resolved and frequent checks of the facilities and a point of contact would be advisable.
Please note my scores are based on my recent experience. If the facilities issues are resolved, these would increase.

Large spacious field, clean well placed toilet/shower facilities.
Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked The field was a lovely size and the toilet/shower block, caught me by surprise. I was expecting a portaloo for the toilet, so to find a purpose built unit containing showers and proper toilet and washroom facilities, was amazing. Will be going back to this site in the future.
Disliked Here's the part that was out of your control. On arrival I was advised to leave a pitch between myself and the next camper, which I did. Went out to see the sunset at Flamborough, and when I returned, found a tent set up on each pitch next to me. (So much for space and privacy). A family pitched up near the toilet block was a nightmare, both the children and parents shouting at each other, and swearing. This went on from 9pm until 3am, I'm sure other campers will also be commenting on this incident. Hopefully this was just a one off, and as I say, I know it was out of your control.
