What customers say
This well-kept, peaceful campground has roomy, level spots and clean, modern facilities. Guests love the friendly owners, unique train-themed lodging and reception, and quiet, rural setting. It's great for families and dog owners, with good play areas and a dog field. Nearby: a pub and steam railway. Suggestions: communal freezer, more signage.

Railway Wagon camping pod (four person)
Liked We stayed in The railway wagon cabin pod, we loved our stay here, it is really lovely and the children really enjoyed themselves. Big spaces for the kids to run around and play football. We will definitely be back.
We don’t have a dog but if you do, they have a lovely dog play park.
The only thing I would say or suggest is it would be nice if there was a play frame for kids by the railway wagon cabin pod side . There is a play frame where u pitch your tents but its out of sight by the cabin pods, so would be lovely if there was a play frame there too.
I will definitely be coming back as it really is a lovely camping ground for family and friends.

Liked Peaceful campsite, we liked the little play parks and the goals for football. Showers were close by and clean. The Middy bar is open on Fridays and a short walk away, the children enjoyed seeing the steam trains at the mid suffolk light railway.

Liked A lovely clean site, with generous pitches. Showers and toilets are well stocked and very clean.
We loved the midi bar on Friday night and enjoyed a lovely pint of shandy in a buzzing atmosphere. This was just a short walk from the campsite.
Would also recommend the cedar pantry farm shop and café for delicious food and drinks. The owners are very friendly and welcoming to very hot sweaty customers! 🤣
