What customers say
This campsite offers a fantastic beachside location, with praised clean facilities & friendly staff. Spacious pitches & food vans are highlights. Some found beach access steep & noted occasional noise, with minor shower temp/WiFi gripes. Great for a relaxing trip!

Absolutely great site. One of our favourites!
Powered cement/asphalt and grass travel trailer campsite
Liked What a great site. It's very well maintained. Clean and tidy. Facilities are modern and clean. Great view and access to the beach. An onsite fish and chips van is a game changer, with many food options. Also a coffee van and a breakfast bar also. Staff are very friendly and helpful. We loved our stay. Will definitely be going back!
Disliked Nothing.

Friendly reception staff & the sites facilities were very clean.
Seaside primitive grass tent campsite
Liked For our first time camping we got lucky, loved the fact that it was an open camp on the seaside pitch & we were told we could pitch up anywhere we liked, we parked & pitched up in a corner so the hedges would block out some of the wind & we ended up being the only campers in that part of the field. It was great, our 2 spaniels loved it as it was less than a 5 minute walk down the steps from the cliff top to Kessingland beach where they could run around & into the sea until they'd had enough! Very peaceful but then guess its quieter for this time of year but it was perfect for us. Close to other areas we wanted to visit while staying in Lowestoft We will definitely be returning.
Disliked Nothing really, only gave a 9 for facilities as the shower was cold on the day we were going but I believe it was being dealt with as we were leaving, the two days prior it was fine, lovely & hot.
It didn't bother us but but there is no WiFi on this part of the camp hence no rating for it.

Powered cement/asphalt and grass travel trailer campsite
Liked All of the staff we spoke to were very friendly and lovely. We had pitch B19 and although it was a little further to the reception, it was a couple of minutes walk maximum. The pitch was a good size, the site was clean and it was very peaceful. The fish and chip van was a bonus and we also ordered from Just Eat on another night and got it delivered to the main car park. Really lovely site and we would definitely stay again.
Disliked The men’s toilets in tent field had a smell to them, so we ended up using the other toilet blocks. The showers are lovely and hot, with lots of cubicles, however the push facility means you get about 5-10 seconds so have to constantly hold it which is a pain when trying to wash my hair.

Liked Good sized pitch. Clean facilities. Useful access to beach from cliffside. Food options and coffee available in mornings.
Staff very pleasant and helpful.
Disliked Toilet block on tent field clean but smells strongly of urine. Assume may be a drainage issue.

Very impressed with the staff Clean site Pitches flat and spacious
Powered cement/asphalt and grass travel trailer campsite
Liked Was impressed in the size of the site and the way in-which it was set out
Roomy pitches, clean toilet and shower facilities there's also a fish & chip shop on site and easy access bus service just outside the main gate but to top all this the view and access to a fantastic beach at the bottom of the camp site
Disliked The toilets and showers seemed a little dated but all very clean

Great site, only site we have returned to!!
Powered cement/asphalt and grass travel trailer campsite
Liked Lovely site, access to the beach which is dog friendly all year round. Friendly, visible staff especially the wardens, circling site several times a day always with a smile!
Facilities are good, we travelled for the first time as a family with 4 month old and the ablutions were good and fit for purpose big pitches which are well maintained
We don’t return to sites, for the want to explore new places, but with a new baby we knew what we were getting with this site and it did not disappoint
