What customers say
This consistently praised site boasts spotless, modern amenities, spacious spots, and great restrooms. Staff are friendly and helpful, the cafe/shop well-stocked, and the playground excellent. It's clean, peaceful, and ideal for families and dog owners. WiFi can be spotty, and shower timers need frequent resets. Occasional distant clay pigeon shooting noise.

**A spontaneous trip that will stay…
Powered grass campsite
Liked **A spontaneous trip that will stay in our memories for a very long time!**
We have been travelling and camping for several years now, and we have honestly never experienced such exceptional facilities before. What makes it even more impressive is that the price is very reasonable — actually below average — and considering the quality of the facilities, it feels incredibly affordable.
From the moment we arrived, we felt that this was somewhere special. The **shower and toilet facilities are truly hotel-standard**. The building is spacious, beautifully finished and clearly maintained with an incredible amount of care and attention to detail. Everything was spotlessly clean, fresh and beautifully presented, with toilet paper and soap always fully stocked. There were even **vases with fresh flowers** throughout the facilities! A lovely finishing touch was the relaxing music playing softly in the background, creating such a peaceful atmosphere.
The showers had **plenty of hot water at no extra charge**, which was fantastic.
Throughout the campsite, there are also interesting historical information boards about the surrounding towns and villages, which was a lovely and thoughtful touch.
The **tent pitches are huge, spacious and well separated**, giving everyone plenty of privacy and room to relax. The rules on the campsite are clearly designed with peace and relaxation in mind. We particularly appreciated the thoughtful approach to quiet hours — even the restriction on taking bottles to the bins during these hours helps to avoid unnecessary noise and disturbance.
There are excellent facilities for enjoying time outdoors too. You can have a BBQ, and there is also the option to hire a fire pit for a campfire.
For those travelling with dogs, this place is fantastic. **Dogs stay free of charge**, and there is a secure fenced area where they can run freely off lead. There are also plenty of conveniently located bins and drinking water points spread throughout the site.
If you don't fancy cooking, you can order **breakfasts and meals**, and there is also a little shop open in the mornings.
Families are well catered for too, with a great children's playground and a table tennis table.
We have a rule when travelling that **we never go back to places we've already visited — there are simply too many new places to discover.** But this campsite has completely changed that rule for us. We are already looking forward to coming back!
**A truly exceptional campsite. We couldn't recommend it highly enough! ❤️**

Brilliant site for all
FHU cement/asphalt travel trailer campsite
Liked We loved this site. It was so clean, friendly and quite (apart from normal playground sounds). The shop/cafe/toilet block was the nicest we have stayed in. We were blown away with the family bathroom.
The cafe offered something different every night and adaptations were made for dietary requirements (bit hit with our son for milkshakes etc).
The playground was well-equipped with a variety of things for different age groups.
Beautiful wildflower walk within the site with option of borrowing yoga mats.
Motorhome servicing area was immaculate and so easy to use. Bin area was clearly marked and tidy.
Pitch sizes were great - we stayed on a fully serviced hardstanding but grass pitches looked massive too.
Great wifi outside cafe and on the patio (phone signal isn't great)
