What customers say
A developing campsite with peaceful surroundings and lovely views. Guests enjoy choosing their own spot, friendly hosts, and good value. Toilets/showers are being renovated but are clean. Close to village amenities. Some temporary ground/work issues noted.

Looks like a recent start-up, but clearly lots of potential.
Hedgerow FHU grass campsite
Liked Spacious and peaceful, free Wifi. Easy to find. Located near to the village, and a good pub, great views.
Disliked Lack of any reception facility or signage, no indication as to location of pitches. Most pitches unlevel and unserviced, some unusable areas in the field. Waste bins overflowing. Part-finished toilet and shower block and only lukewarm water for washing-up.

From the manager: Thank you for your feedback. We’re really pleased you enjoyed the peaceful setting, views, and our location near the village and pub.
We’d just like to clarify that a welcome message was sent on the day of arrival with pitching guidance, including the location of the EHU points, and details on how to contact us if needed. Our campsite has a relaxed “pitch where you like” approach within designated areas, with a limited number of serviced pitches.
The toilet and shower block is kept very clean and fully usable, although one cubicle is not yet in operation. The lukewarm water relates only to the outdoor washing-up area and is something we are addressing. The field bins have also now been removed as they were impractical and detracted from the setting.
We do appreciate your feedback and will continue working to improve the experience for all guests.

Meadow primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Fantastic stay!. Even before arriving received a friendly welcome message from the owner Brendan. You can pitch up where you like. The views are great and the toilet / shower block is kept very clean. Was pitched towards the back of the field and still had a strong wifi signal. The campsite is located close to the village that has a pub and a shop. Will definitely visit again!
Disliked Nothing at all

Meadow primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Brendan the owner and host, a big smile, warm and welcoming. Plenty of space. Pitch where you want. Perfect for my needs. Site only 12 months open. For a work in progress all the right things already in place. Extremely clean, warm showers and toilets and nice touches (Andrex loo roll) .I camped over a weekend whilst visiting Duxford Air Museum (highly recommended!) A layed back hippy feel. Such a change from other sites. Peaceful. A gem.

Meadow primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Pitch up where you like. Loads of space in the field which was relatively flat. Good customer service. We arrived late and left early as it was purely a stop off so didn’t have chance to check out the area. Only one shower but very clean and nice and hot.
Disliked Lots of work underway across the site but don’t bother us at all.
