What customers say
Quiet, spacious site with lovely country views & great value. Owners are friendly & helpful. Guests like picking their own pitch & the clean, though improving, facilities. Walk to amenities. Relaxed vibe, though some rough ground & busy periods need more facilities.

Great site, can't wait to go back
Meadow primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked The owner, Brendan was lovely. Always available via txt and really helpful/kind. The field was ideal and the shower block was so well maintained and included free toilet roll and hand wash! Couldn't believe there was also free WiFi
Disliked Another family pitches up on our doorstep but that's no fault of Bromptons

Exceptional value for the money and a very peaceful and relaxing site
Hedgerow FHU grass travel trailer campsite
Liked A very peaceful site with stunning sunrises and sunsets, we had clear skies and the amount of stars in the night sky was amazing. It has fields surrounding it.
You choose where you want to pitch up (within reason if you want Ehu) which is the first time we've had that and you wasn't restricted on space either.
The toilet/shower block was always clean and it wasn't far to walk either. The village of Stanton is a ten minute walk away with an old traditional spit and sawdust Pub and there is a Co-op in the village. There was a highly rated farmers market around a twenty minute walk at the Wyken Vineyard.
Brendan the owner is such a lovely guy as well and is so welcoming. We would highly recommended Bromptons Farm, its was absolutely worth every penny of the fair price we paid. We will return

Good value for money
Meadow primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked A nice small campsite with fairly flat pitches and lots of small trees so you can find privacy and shade. You can pitch up where you like which is always good. The owner sends a text on the morning with all the info you need.
2 clean toilets and 1 shower.
Great views of the countryside so nice for a few days of relaxing.
Overall had a nice stay here.
Disliked Site is a little messy and lots of pallets, old wood and stuff people has just left lying around in a heap near the entrance
The site has great potential but the messy entrance is a little off putting. A good tidy up of the site would give a much better first impression.

From the manager: Thank you for taking the time to leave such a detailed review. We’re really pleased to hear that you enjoyed your stay, particularly the spacious pitches, privacy, countryside views and the facilities, and that you found the site good value for money.
We’re sorry that the area around the entrance gave you a less favourable first impression. We do keep the entrance and surrounding areas tidy, although there is a designated area near the bins where items left by campers, such as old tents and chairs, are temporarily placed before being disposed of. These items are removed as quickly as possible.
There are also some pallets and timber stacked behind the toilet and shower block, rather than around the main camping areas, as part of our ongoing site maintenance and upkeep.
We appreciate that everyone has a slightly different impression of a campsite, and we’ll certainly take your comments on board. We’re glad that overall you had a relaxing stay and enjoyed the setting, and we hope to welcome you back in the future.

Powered grass tent or trailer tent campsite (water hook-up)
Liked I liked the simplicity of this site - it’s relaxed and has everything you need for a little night away. Both of the toilets and the shower were spotless. Pitches generous size and everyone there seemed to be friendly and to enjoy what it offers too. A lovely bit of Suffolk and within walking distance of the Leaping Hare for a treat evening meal. A pub within walking distance in the other direction too. Owner was friendly and responsive - sent helpful directions and info on the day of travel. Reasonable price for location. All good.

Liked Great campsite, very quiet and peaceful location and beautiful views of the countryside. The toilets and shower block were very clean and well maintained. Would definitely recommend the place. The village is a 10 minute walk away, and the Wyken Vineyard is about a 15 minute walk too.
