Hedgerow FHU grass campsite
Liked Site was busy but clean. Friendly staff, made sure we were next to our friends as the site did not have marked pitch areas. Pub within walking distance
Disliked One shower not enough for how busy it was. Nearly missed entrance to the site, need signage opposite side of road.

Relaxed campsite with great views, nice facilities and a warm welcome.
Meadow primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked We had a fantastic stay at Bromptons Farm and will definitely be returning. The views are beautiful, and the relaxed “pitch where you like” approach made the whole experience easy. The owner was friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help with anything we needed.
The location is perfect; close to the village with plenty of nice dog walks straight from the campsite, so we barely needed to use the car once we arrived. It’s also an easy walk to Wyken Vineyard. The Saturday farmers market there is a great place to spend a couple hours relaxing with a coffee and enjoying the atmosphere.
The toilet and shower block was spotless throughout our stay and always well stocked, which really made a difference. Overall, a wonderful campsite with a great atmosphere, excellent facilities, and a superb location. Highly recommended!

Hedgerow FHU grass campsite
Liked Spacious site with wonderful views and countryside (sun rise and set). Excellent walking. Good to choose your site as there are no lined designated areas which makes it more relaxing. Very reasonable. Huge skies to watch the clouds go by. Friendly and very helpful owner. It’s very new and work is still in progress, but it’s still clean and perfectly adequate. Lovely warm toilet/shower room!
Disliked Nothing

Looks like a recent start-up, but clearly lots of potential.
Hedgerow FHU grass campsite
Liked Spacious and peaceful, free Wifi. Easy to find. Located near to the village, and a good pub, great views.
Disliked Lack of any reception facility or signage, no indication as to location of pitches. Most pitches unlevel and unserviced, some unusable areas in the field. Waste bins overflowing. Part-finished toilet and shower block and only lukewarm water for washing-up.

From the manager: Thank you for your feedback. We’re really pleased you enjoyed the peaceful setting, views, and our location near the village and pub.
We’d just like to clarify that a welcome message was sent on the day of arrival with pitching guidance, including the location of the EHU points, and details on how to contact us if needed. Our campsite has a relaxed “pitch where you like” approach within designated areas, with a limited number of serviced pitches.
The toilet and shower block is kept very clean and fully usable, although one cubicle is not yet in operation. The lukewarm water relates only to the outdoor washing-up area and is something we are addressing. The field bins have also now been removed as they were impractical and detracted from the setting.
We do appreciate your feedback and will continue working to improve the experience for all guests.

Meadow primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Plenty of space to pitch up wherever in a large grassed field. Campervans, motorhomes, tents of all sorts. Unisex showers and toilet cubicles (2 of each). Despite being busy over the BH weekend, very quiet overnight in a very peaceful rural setting. Fresh water, grey water and Elsan (green) near entrance. Didn't see Brendan, but good communications by mobile. Stanton has pub and convenience store very near to the site. Best of all, the price, just £38.25 for three nights!!

Meadow primitive grass tent campsite
Liked No allocated pitches so can pitch where you like, spacious area, clean and fully stocked toilet facilities and friendly site owner
Disliked Slight uneven ground when walking to the toilet in the night where ground has been churned up, but hazards avoided with use of a torch!
