What customers say
Peaceful, well-kept site near Wells-next-the-Sea. Guests love spacious, private spots & quiet vibes, though some note early rooster noise. Basic but clean facilities. Fire pits for rent. Nearby miniature railway is a unique plus. Friendly, helpful owners.

Liked Such a lovely picturesque camp site, intimate and beautiful. A lovely vibe to it. The honesty wood shed is fantastic and super easy to use, welcome instructions the day before we’re really helpful. And the compost toilets were clean and fully equipped with everything you need! Highly recommend - very good value for money and super enjoyable!

Lovely peaceful site
Silkie primitive grass tent campsite
Liked Small and peaceful, clean composting toilets. Nice pitches with trees and picnic tables. Love it, will be back
Disliked Nothing to say really. Would be nice to have water in the tent field to save walking to the van field but that is a very minor thing and it’s good exercise!

Lovely little site. Its simple but beautifully looked after.
Bantam powered grass travel trailer campsite
Liked Large pitches, there's only 5 in electric, but well spaced apart and you pick a free one upon arrival. There's 2 x composting toilets which were kept immaculate throughout. Its a generally quiet site, with the occasional steam train whistle in the distance. A great site for star gazing and lots of great facilities like everything you might need for a fire pit, Elsen point, water filling point etc.
Disliked Not a dislike, but be aware there are free roaming chickens (and baby chicks). Thus there is at least one cockerel who likes to announce himself early in the morning! It didn't bother or disturb us, but don't book in if you're worried about any noise.

Silkie primitive grass tent campsite
Liked Lovely location, close proximity to Wells and Holkham. Large pitches, clean, functional compost toilets. Tap, general rubbish and recycling bins. All you need for a no fuss back to basics camping experience.
Disliked During my stay it was windy, so bring a windbreak just in case.

If you want a beautiful, simple and peaceful site look no further
Silkie primitive grass tent campsite
Liked This is the second year in a row we have visited grove farm, a total of 3 times. It’s a peaceful site, and the owners Jess and Ryan are lovely and very accommodating. The facilities fit the simple surroundings of the meadow, with swaths cut in to pitch your tent, so instead of an ugly shower block, there are 2 quant composting toilets, and found in the next area which takes a few vans, freshwater, campervan/caravan waste, general waste and recycling. They also sell logs, matches and eco fire lighters, and provide a fire brazier, if the weather is suitable to toast those marshmallows
There’s lots of wildlife present and a good place to view the star constellation
They also have bantam chickens and a Cockerel wandering on site. But I’d rather listen to a cockerel than airplanes, emergency services and human noise
Excellent value for money and a safe place for the children to play and explore while you cook
Disliked Not had any dislikes in all 3 vidts

Basic, but excellent value for money
Bantam powered grass travel trailer campsite
Liked Lovely quiet site (apart from the RAF planes flying over every now and then but the owners can't do anything about that) with amazing star gazing potential on clear nights. The kids loved the chicks following mother chicken round the site.
Bus stop to Wells was only a few minutes walk from the site which was good as the car parks in Wells all seemed to have height restrictions in place which were way to low for our motorhome.
