  • Quiet site on an old fruit farm overlooking the leafy Wyre Forest
  • A 15-minute drive to Kidderminster and West Midland Safari Park
  • Five minutes’ walk from Far Forest’s village shop and pub
Spread out over Hedgwick’s four acres on your next hol, all while looking out over the lush Wyre Forest at this Worcestershire site that was once part of a working fruit farm. A pretty and peaceful space, it’s been in the owner's family for many years – a testament to the fact it’s in such a tip-tip location. It’s close to walking paths and a five-minute stroll from the village amenities at Far Forest, and the site’s grounds are pleasant for pottering about under a willow arch, near the hazel hedgerow and beneath cherry trees. Unfurl a picnic blanket to settle down in your leafy surrounds and sample a spread gathered up from the nearby shop. This place is said to stock a decent variety of products and has fresh bread and local milk delivered daily. The village also has a pub with a carvery – grand if cooking for yourself just isn’t an option when you’re on a break. Seek out eateries in other stellar settlements as well, like Ludlow (half an hour), which has a castle and tons of Tudor-style architecture. The site is five minutes from the activities at Go Ape Wyre Forest and 35 minutes from the Shropshire Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty too.
