What customers say
Well-kept & clean site, with friendly staff & beautiful scenery. Families love the on-site animals, playground & live music. Café & fishing lakes are popular too. Some noted poor phone signal, Wi-Fi, short hot water, and occasional toilet cleanliness issues.

Peaceful, beautiful animals, lovely food
Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked We’ve just come back from our 3rd visit now, 2nd with my parents who are not seasoned campers but they love it as much as we do. We have always found the site staff to be helpful and friendly, the breakfast in the cafe is lovely and we just find the site very peaceful.
The animals are great and the kids love going to get some feed to give to them. A couple of hours sat on the smaller lakes fishing is very relaxing.
Close (drive) to pub/shops so you’re never too far from anything you might need. Lovely meal in the Masons Arms down the road.

Liked Great campsite for families, so much to do and all the facilities available. Highlights include lunch at the cafe, and seeing bats flying over the fishing ponds at night.

A nice place probably better in the off season.

Liked Touring field located in separate area near the toilet block, gravel pitches reasonably level, animals onsite very friendly and we spent a lot of time in this area of the park. Large playing field where ball games ect can be played without disturbing anyone else. Cafe onsite although a bit on the pricy side. Good quality play area for the younger children.
Disliked Unfortunately pitches especially in the center are not defined, maybe hedges or fencing would ensure some privacy. Groups of children running about and kicking balls (which did hit our van) as the parent's preferred to continue drinking instead of taking their kids to the very good play area, I am aware it was school holidays, however our kids were not allowed to play round the vans and I don't expect to be bothered by other people's children. Also no discount for residents on the fishing lakes, day tickets very expensive

Liked Playground and animals helped keep the children entertained. Live music on the Saturday Evening was also a bonus. Toilets and shower block was clean.
Disliked Pitches are very close together. It became very busy over the weekend and felt like everyone was on top of each other.

Liked The children's playground by the cafe was a lot of fun and we enjoyed having a good breakfast in the cafe. The pitches are a good size and well marked. It's great that there are areas around the site edges and fishing ponds that are left uncut for wildlife. We enjoyed seeing the animals too.

Liked Farm park
Disliked We arrived late (pre arranged) and were put on a pitch, went off for the day and arrived back and the pitch we were on was occupied, was a shame as the families in the middle (where we were relocated) were noisy until 11pm and a group of children kicked a bottle into our van late at night. May not be the sites fault (although could do with being wardened to encourage people to be quiet) it left a negative feel. Also went for a shower at 5pm and the three cubicles were thick with mud, by the morning these had been cleaned :)
