What customers say
This peaceful rural campsite boasts immaculate eco-friendly facilities, including a unique shepherd's hut shower. Guests rave about friendly owners, abundant wildlife, and beautiful views. While pitches are spacious, shop supplies are limited & phone signal can be weak. Perfect for a relaxing, back-to-basics escape.

Liked Very quiet, good value. Enjoyed the ‘pop up pub’ next door at Commonwood Farm, and visit to Berrington Hall (NT). Would certainly stay again if in the area.

Disliked Noise from pizza party at neighbouring farm. Would not have booked if we'd known about it. Just wanted a quiet barbecue and catch up with friends.
Also, composting toilet was poorly designed.

Primitive grass campsite
Liked Small campsite but not overcrowded. Clean and tidy compost toilet and shower that forms the Shepherd's Hut. Communal social space/shelter/nook was an added bonus for children, or for staying out of adverse weather.
