  • Luxury glamping at a 12-acre field 10 minutes' drive from Evesham
  • A 20-minute drive to Broadway; half an hour to Stratford-upon-Avon
  • Private bathroom, kitchen, barbecue and outdoor lounge for each tent
Stylish accommodation and stunning views are what it’s all about at Manor Meadow Glamping, where a handful of luxury six-metre bell tents sit in a private 12-acre field with gorgeous views across the Worcestershire countryside towards the Malvern Hills. Staying in the open air doesn’t mean sacrificing any comforts here – sleeping up to four, each tent has a double bed and two singles (made up for your arrival) along with a cosy sofa and soft furnishings including rugs, cushions and throws. The living space extends outside too – each tent has a spacious 8m x 2m covered outdoor living area with comfy seating and rugs (just the spot for a sunset drink or two, perhaps…). Each tent also has its own bespoke glamping kitchen with a fridge, hob, toaster, kettle, coffee machine and plenty of cookware, glassware, crockery and cutlery. You’ll have use of a gas barbecue as well, plus a picnic bench with parasol. A private bathroom is provided too, with a top-notch compost toilet and a rainfall shower for that boutique-hotel vibe. Being out in a rural spot like this gives you a great chance to slow down for a while, enjoy the views and spend some time stargazing with minimal light pollution. You won’t have to travel far to find plenty of attractions and activities to fill your days though – this Vale of Evesham location has easy access to the Malvern Hills and the northern part of the Cotswolds National Landscape for scenic walks, plus lovely towns like Stratford-upon-Avon, Broadway and Chipping Campden.

Local attractions

Brought your walking boots? Head to places like Bredon Hill (20 minutes’ drive) for sweeping views and the remains of an Iron Age hillfort or get out into the Malvern Hills National Landscape for a great variety of trails (with particularly lovely sunrise and sunset views). Cotswold towns like Broadway (20 minutes) and Chipping Campden (25 minutes) are are gorgeous for a wander, with those classic honey-coloured cottages and the hilltop Broadway Tower in the former. Stratford-upon-Avon (half an hour) is another town that should be on your list – perhaps to catch a Shakespeare play and visit his birthplace or to take a boat trip along the River Avon. For a deeper dive into local history, head into Evesham (10 minutes) to visit the medieval timber-framed Almonry Museum and the remains of the abbey. If you’ve brought the family along, it may be handy to know about the adventure play areas at The Valley Evesham (10 minutes) as well as attractions like Cotswold Vale Alpaca Experience (15 minutes) and All Things Wild (20 minutes).
