What customers say
This peaceful, family-run campground has flat, spacious sites and clean, basic amenities. Guests consistently praise hosts Gareth and Sue's warm welcome and helpfulness. While currently lacking showers and electricity, upgrades are planned. Its convenient location for exploring the Cotswolds and pleasant rural setting are highlights. Some noted short toilet light activation.

Gem of a site
Primitive mixed travel trailer campsite
Liked Absolute gem of a site, recently opened, elec pitches will be coming soon. No showers yet just toilets. Super large pitches so loads of space. Suited us perfectly, only problem with saying how much we loved this site is that we may find it fully booked next time we want to stay. Congratulations to the owners who really care that we have a good experience on their site. Thanks 👍

From the manager: Thank you so much for the lovely comments. It was a pleasure to meet you both and we're so pleased you enjoyed the area. Great idea to bring the bikes and we can give you some suggestions for great rides - in the Cotswolds or along the Greenway to Stratford-upon-Avon, We look forward to having you with us again. Lovely peaceful, convenient place to stay to reach local places
Primitive grass travel trailer campsite
Liked Lovely peaceful place to stay, and Gareth & Sue are very attentive hosts. Everything required for a self-contained campervan stay
Disliked The lights in the toilets only remain on for a few seconds - but waving arms around brings them back on 😂

From the manager: Thank you for your review Elspeth. We're pleased you enjoyed your stay and look forward to having you with us again.
Yes, we do try to emphasise to guests that we don't currently have electricity to the site and therefore ask them to bring their own torches. Nevertheless, we have two sets of solar lights in each toilet - one set to come on at night and stay on through the night. The other is PIR and activates in daytime when someone moves, which is the one I guess you are referring to. We do what we can until the electricity is connected.
Kind regards, Gareth & Sue

From the manager: Thank you for your review. Yes, we do make clear to all customers that the site has no electricity and therefore no showers, as we are awaiting an electricity connection from National Grid. Unfortunately, after such a dry summer, the grass is very dry and the new trees have not grown as much as we would have hoped ... but the views and sunsets are superb and the boundaries to the site are still lush! We're very sorry it wasn't as you hoped. Kind regards, Gareth & Sue
Will even better when they have electric on site.
